Limbus 2025
Highest I've hit is high 80s, maybe 90k on DNC with Ruthless. It definitely goes way past 50k.
This is why I was asking, it's clear hybrid are going to be way more powerful and OP.
Trueflight is not a hybrid? It's a magical WS.
Hybrid WS, sadly, get a worse reduction than the 50% you get on physical and magical WSs. It's because Hybrids are composed of two parts, and the 50% DT gets applied two times, once per each part. Basically... I think SimonSes gave a better explanation a few pages ago. Asura.Sechs said: » Trueflight is not a hybrid? It's a magical WS. Torc>Torc kills a mob, I assume Fudo>Fudo does too (this is where UH>UH sucks and is weak. Or if BRD/WHM GEO/WHM could heal then just take 3 DD and COR. Or 2 COR and use Jinpu. idk, content is pretty easy anyway. I noticed that I close a leaden with mumei for darkness
Single skillchain no steps Regardless of leadens dmg the ws/skillchain fills in the rest of the hp But not the same results with lvl 1/2 Truflight is going to slap in double light weather.

Unless I'm mistaken, hybrid WS's do a physical hit, then a magic hit based on the damage of the physical hit. With the blanket 50% DT in Limbus, the physical hit is getting a 50% cut, and the magic, which depends on the physical hit, gets its own 50% cut as well. But you're able to buff both phys and magical damage whereas weigh physical ws only the physical side. With GEO or 2 COR or even GEO and 2 COR surely it would be higher damage than Fudo

How is he pushing magical ws to 140k equivalent? Yup, what Nynja said.
On Sam it's easy to see it if you miss the physical hit then get a zanshin proc on the WS. Dmg is always poopoo because the zanshin physical hit does poopoo dmg even if you otherwise always cap dmg. So I thought it took the fstr, modifier, pdif etc and then multiplied the outcome by 0.5 then did an entirely new calculation of it as a magical ws and times that by 0.5 and added them together.
If you miss the first hit then it still did that but obviously without the modifier, hence why it is weak. K123 said: » How is he pushing magical ws to 140k equivalent? If we're talking the TF in pictures combined total; because TF hits like a truck already, gets a perma +25% dmg bonus in temenos via weather(assuming obi), and is only getting reduced once compared to hybrids that get reduced twice, possibly worse since you could say its getting nerfed 3 times the phys hit gets a 50% cut, which is now cutting the dmg on the magic end already, then the magic end gets cut again by 50% Double weather plus ring I am guessing then. So does Apollyon have double dark? I didn't even pay that much attention.
Anyone worked out how much HP they have at ilv130? Feels about 100k exactly? there's also racial SDTs to take into account. Goblins tend to take increased elemental dmg in general aside from darkness, light moreso among them.
Apo is always double dark, yeah K123 said: » Anyone worked out how much HP they have at ilv130? Feels about 100k exactly? Its right around 120K. A capped diarmuid drops something from 100% to 17%. Can cap pretty easy on hounds, damselflies, wasps, like 1-2 other mobs. Asura, Apollyon ??? is NE floor 1 near the warp.

I was under the impression it only worked on auto-attacks and the wiki page seems to imply the missing zanshins don't work on WS. The Zanhasso hits could, in theory, work on a WS, but I'm not really ready to go down a rabbit hole of reading primary sources at this moment to check the testing, if any. I've always assumed that shitty jinpu etc were from a miss followed by a MA proc from gear (mpaca, nyame, niqmaddu, etc). What do you mean cappped? You are hitting 99k with 50% DT? With a GEO?
The TP return from a missed hit WS into a "weak" WS suggests a zanshin proc which gives it a higher TP return from ikishoten.
Test your normal hit TP return on a WS set and add ikishoten merits * 30. That's a zanshin'd theoretical TP return on a WS. See if you match this on weak WS. As opposed to a double attack proc on a miss which gives a similarly weak hit but a lesser TP return - by ikishoten * 30. 150TP * storetp difference with 5 merits. Opinion etc. K123 said: » What do you mean cappped? You are hitting 99k with 50% DT? With a GEO? I was messing with the Simulator and some of the prime WS can very well hit for 130-150k under the right conditions. Though the damage cap prevents that. It's pretty apparent on limbus monsters. I think it might be time for SE to introduce the Genji Glove…

K123 said: » What do you mean cappped? You are hitting 99k with 50% DT? With a GEO? Yes. COR alt, BRD alt, Sylvie. 99999s on certain mobs. Pretty sure I've only done that on DRG and against mobs that are typically weak to piercing (wasps, flies, etc... idk if hounds are weak to piercing or just weak to everything.. but also them. I do need Sylvie to do this. Without her, I can only get to like 92K on them. It's not like a once in a million, need quad attack thing. If im properly buffed, 3K diarmuid semi regularly caps on them. Dodik said: » Taint said: » I always assumed the random TP returns were from Conserve TP. I'll keep an eye out, I play SAM most everyday. |
