What they should do with the porters is make the next floor the first option each time.
So F1 shows F2 F3 F4 F2 would show F3 F4 F1 F3 would show F4 F1 F2 etc This way you can spam enter to go up a floor. They shouldn't make the game easier for botters.
Not for botting, that would be auto-port. Makes it easy to run from mobs and port up if you are on a dd job without sleep etc.
Bots would use packets so the menu order is irrelevant. I don't know why everyone wants to over engineer it.
You should only enter at 1. Every portal only goes up. No menus. You leave when you warp out. And party leader pulls the party up. (no one gives a *** if a bot can do it, be serious) ((there's no gil to make and nothing to merc and the gear is ***anyway, just let it go)) An item to exit you to the lobby would be nice.

It's so SE doesn't actually have to test state transitions that all come from the same entity (a clickable/targetable thing). If you separate them and give them one function, testing is significantly easier. Also dropping the lamp and leaving the instance is literally required to get your ichor. If you warp out from the chamber: ![]() I thought about this after I posted, but they could make the lobby a separate area (I know not going to happen). Eh, could always set home point outside the area I guess if you are going to die and want to get back to it ASAP.

I really don't want more ***to load I started doing a floor I already had because of load times last night Checked my inventory before going up and there was nothing there. Lol can packetflow help me here? Is this area something that needs to be added to the whitelist? Any updates on Asura's Apollyon and Temenos ??? ?

Has anyone hit a cap on total units you can hold?
I think something slept on about this is the EP/hr that you can get farming a floor over and over. I'm doing a shade under 100k without cor roll at ML50. Is it banger EP in itself? No, of course not. But for double dipping between content currency and EP, its solid.

I did a tem climb last night.. my last one i could do this week. main was like 900 units short of an upgrade so I went to Central 1 and just wrecked yags for the course of one set of SVCC songs... so roughly 12 minutes. Pretty sure I filled my bar up 6 times during that time.... So its possible to pull in more than ~3.5K an hr that way. SV isnt needed to two step most things so its not contingent on that. Central is a better value then the other towers anyway. 7/170 beats 4/85 by one full mob. Again im not suggesting this as something anyone would particularly want to do that much but if youre just shy of an upgrade and out of chests, probly best way to do it. Feel like 5K/hour is possible. If you have no chests left, thats easily better than a climb with half pts. (Edit: my setup is DRG, BRD alt, COR alt just for buffs/sleeps, Sylvie, Koru, Monberaux... so im not "soloing" but not 6 boxing/botting at all either. I literally alt tab and roll the COR manually, sing on the BRD manually.. no roller or singer. Just leave the DRG engaged while I do that) We took a reasonably optimal 6 char party into apollyon and cleared the entire zone in 50 minutes. DRG DRK BLU SCH COR BRD. So three proper DDs, a healer. The brd and cor were alts though and were buff only. So if those were real people... 40 minutes seems reasonable? Yes Asura Apollyon ??? respawned in the exact same botting hotspot as the previous time, so the "it just picks a random monster in the zone to become the NM immediately when old ??? despawns" theory is looking pretty dead.
Why is it dead? Apollyon camps have multiple mob types.

I thought the theory was it randomly picks a specific single mob, so it would be quite a fluke to happen to pick a mob in the same spot of the same floor twice in a row.
I don't really see any reason to think it randomly selects a mob type and any mob of that type then has a chance at respawning as the NM, that's just adding extra steps and complexity over letting any mob have a chance at respawning as the NM after previous ??? has despawned. yeah idk why we're trying to reinvent what "lottery NM" is. Why wouldnt it just be what its always been. You kill it... and every mob it can be from then on out is lottery.
For it to land in the exact same spot twice in a row, across a thousand different mobs, makes lottery seemingly hard to believe, is the point
Depends on how the ITG pick happens. If it's a Taisaijin thing where it upgrades/despawns a random mob in place, then sure, much RNG.
If the ITG pick happens as something spawns, it's not picking from thousands of mobs. Just whatever selection happens to be currently dead when the old ??? goes poof. |
