TL;DR, they are lowering the requirements to hit reward brackets by 60.

They cut down on the big number dailies. Though to be fair, most people were finishing up after a week.
Did they make this minigame less shitty? I remember when it first came out, it was super *** slow.

I wish they gave us more different campaign ops that way the higher tiers would unlock and i could get them into my completed missions tab instead of the stuff that either we do anyway or won't have any effect on mastery rank.

Will say though, putting several of these behind Adoulin missions, Rhapsody and weekly/daily resets. (Sparks, Odyssey) feels incredibly mean, when this is incredibly rewarding for a new / returnee.

Well, just doing the 10/20 pointers will clear silver, and that's what new players need.
It will keep them from gold, which gold sucks anyway. So it's working perfectly, even if it's mean.
Doing enough bout to silver twice should be worth something significantly better than 3 random earrings (just logging in gets you 16 earrings) 2 Apex mobs worth of exemplar points. 1 free sortie. or 1 run worth of segments.
Everything in the gold category is a slap in the face.

The problem I have with odyssey is other people should immediately start grinding it but the entry point higher than it needs to be for that.

Its a full set. It behaves in the same way as the AA armor kupons. If you trade it and then dont select a reward you get it back as a KI.

All the correct moves are predetermined as soon as the pattern is revealed. When playing against an AI that will always make the optimal move.
When XI itself does not waste quite enough of your time it needs to invent mini-games within the game to do it.
