We'll have a much better idea in a few minutes but from how they described it in the post it sounds like the 20 hours starts after your first attempt so probably no point in staying up to collect KI unless also going to attempt it.

Got as far as using a temp item to warp up using Gadget B and fought a boss for 2,000 points but then it was a dead end.

The rest of the time running around aimlessly not knowing where to go and just fighting mobs to get temp items from coffers. Ended with 8k Gallimaufry.

Biggest disappointment ever but gives hope to jobs with horrible earrings that they could get an aug worth using I guess.

Do you happen to have a screenshot of any of the earring augs?

Picked up PLD RUN and THF eaarrings (was on none of those jobs. 2 got Mac/Acc +6, one got Mac/Acc +10

Just tested and it looks like a visual bug, im getting the acc on R.ear and NOT on L.ear

These are also acc/macc earrings (for NIN).

Its a mistranslation, tested in Mhaura and I get the augment bonus on R ear and NOT on L ear

Seems trusts are glitched, Val died and his HP was O in party list but his name didn't disappear. When Released all trusts they didn't disappear from the party list and when re re-summoned they were invisible/not attacking though I could see their yellow dots in the compass and could see them talking in party chat.

What did the ear drop from? I just saw someone kill the Putraxia NM and a bunch of trash but didn't get any earrings

In the first section we killed an Obdella NM that was just in some normal mobs, checked impossible to gauge and it dropped a red coffer. Coffer gave everyone in party an Old Case, which contained a random earring.

If you were a Japanese businessman, would you fire this person? I probably would.

You know that's its not going to roll out smooth because its lolSE with coding issues with like apparently trusts for example, and for them to mess up even something so simple... how embarrassing...

I mean it works, its just a translation error most likely, not the first and im sure wont be the last.

To Sum up our first run:

WAR DRK BRD COR WHM GEO (pretty sure frailty was nerfed)

(can confirm AOE was doing full damage)

We found leech NM (Obdella) in the first main section, killed it for a red coffer containing currency and an Old Case for all.

We later found a Porxie NM which gave...I think key #A (will need to check my recording.

Most of the areas are all mapped in game but we did find an area that was not. The trash was all trash, low level and melted and didnt seem worth killing. We eventually found the item to use the Gadget #B but timed out trying to find it, place is a total maze. plenty of Locked Door #D around too, even in the first area. My hard guess at this stage is it's going to be a case of getting behind Door #D as soon as possible and farming as much in there before you time out. Will likely need a path through A/B/C to get the requisite items from the NMs.

Congestion issue this also happens in Omen on Odin during peak JP times when the queue is like 30mins long.

AoE Damage appears to be normal on regular monsters:


Tried to charm a Hecteyes and it inflicted Bind, didn't try any other mob family. Lvl 120-121 level range from the limited testing time I had.

You unlock the ability to upgrade empy+2 for the job you entered Sortie on.

First run I entered as BLU, and the gobbie listed Hashinshin armors as available to upgrade, regardless of the job I talked to him on.

Seems pretty easy to "catch-up" with jobs though, just enter solo on days when your Ruspix plate is ready.

Armor upgrades are only 10k Muffins and a gem each, though gems aren't gonna drop every run obviously. So 25k Muffins/armor piece, or 4-5 runs a piece with a group.
