The countries in green that you see in the picture above use the metric system. Please adapt to me and stop using that incredible HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE imperial measuring system. Signed, The rest of the world. Dear the rest of the world,
No. On topic though, I kinda think it would be nice to use the metric system, lot easier and lot better. Neither will Myanmar or Liberia!

Pandemonium.Bartimaeus said: Antarctica WILL NEVER BOW TO YOUR DEMANDS, BARBARIAN. Even though I saw this coming I still lol'd. Dear USA,
If the you won't convert to the metric system, at least use the real imperial system. Damn US gallon... a gallon is a gallon, why did you have to make up your own unit of measure and then give it the same name as an existing unit of measure. And don't get us started on English (US)... signed The English. Pandemonium.Bartimaeus said: Antarctica WILL NEVER BOW TO YOUR DEMANDS, BARBARIAN. lmao Dear rest of the world,
Nobel Prize President,King,Monarch or gtfo! Dear America and the rest of the world,
Just joking, I use metric too. signed, Antarctica. Odin.Blazza said: Dear America and the rest of the world,

wow we have gallons of gas and milk, omg were so ignorant and pompous <.< anywhere it matters at all, youll be working with, and obviously know how the metric system works. you wont find the .."imperial system" anywhere in science >.> Ifrit.Kungfuhustle said: Dear "Rest of the World",

I still get engineering drawings from the US in imperial and most American's I have given presentations to have had to, contain both imperial and metric units, because if I don't half the room have no idea what I am saying. Dear The Rest of the World,
Listen to Blurr! I just bought a gallon of milk. you're an engineer, half the room won't get what you're saying regardless.
lol as funny as that was, seems people forgot why we use a completely different system, twas our forfather's silly effort to be different from their english fellows. I blame the english! (JK , was kinda HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE to chg measurements...)

But this is a topic that could go down him very fast. U.S. was in the war long before the events of Pearl Harbor and before it "officially" declared war on Japan, who do you think supplied Britain w/ war logistics aside from itself (ammunition, war vehicles, etc)? Who do you think placed an embargo on Japan in response to its invasion of China? oh God, Lud's avatar is showing his true colors... and it's disturbingly disturbing.
As for the bagged milk, leave it to Canada to be "different" than the US. Ramuh.Krizz said: Odin.Dirtyfinger said: bag of milk!? PARTLY skimmed? So they leave the fatty part on the other half? Who do you think placed an embargo on Japan in response to its invasion of China? I know the history. But you can't argue the fact, the sooner America became officially involved the sooner it would have ended. But I can see this descending into a bit of a mess, which I am not interested in. I was purely replying to the person implying that America saved the day (which they did to a point, but not in the way that he implied). |
