The net effect of the changes in-game is that the inventories I look at appear way faster, even if it actually takes longer for 100% of inventory to load. I like it!

It felt faster for the little time I played before emergency maint.

Either that or I was distracted by all the plugins breaking. Scrolling seemed faster, but I think that was definitely all in my head.

Huh, emergency maint, awe jeez, who could've ever seen that coming

Should be because they -completely- broke ToM somehow

Probably has to do with the recent bug report: completing a magian trial was not giving the completed item after finishing the cs. The moogle said you cannot hold more than one of that item.

What change could have possibly affected some old code like ToM?

I mean, how did last months update break Annihilator, and then FIXING annihilator break the log in club. These things just happen when you're rushing while incompetent.

If I know one thing about coding is that it could have been virtually anything. Fix an item typo somewhere and it'll break the whole game.

Can you imagine how much time and thought they had to put into recycle to make sure people didn't expolit it, I've got a headache thinking about all the possible scenarios, items and things people can come up with to try abuse it.

Yeah, maybe something related to the new recycle bin inventory or the change to vigil weapon storing must had triggered some control from ToM.

Experiencing an issue with crashing.

I've got a bucket of characters and only one is experiencing the issue. Belkin is crashing straight to desktop as soon as he opens Mog Safe. The rest of the dudes do not crash. Everybody has same exact settings/addons loaded.

Anybody else getting this?

The inventory loading is so much nicer now, the spinning wait icons take as long as they used to but your inventory spaces are usable almost right away compared to being locked out for upto 10 seconds before.

Also love that you don't have to put items in your inventory before putting into another bag now, you can swap between any 2 bags.

They changed the keyboard functions with inventory, I used to press alt and left to page down in an inventory space but now that changes inventory type.

ctrl left still works as page down.

It's amazing to me how quickly they fix this stuff, on nearly ever game outside of JP run ones something like that would stay in the game for days.

We had our "." for days though, really not sure why they didn't push an update for that as quick as they fixed annihilator...

Yeah but that was a translation file issue, I mean a bug the JP developers are responsible for.

In case it was not confirmed before:

Recycle Bin works on Augmented ILVL 119 III REMA, so it is assumed that it works on pretty much everything even with special internal data on it.

Just don't disconnect or forget about throwing it away and zone.

Recycle bin is a smart way to deal with those people who happy drop ***then ask GMs for their one-restore junk.

Still, wont help dudes who use those risky DROP ALL/* commands from addons though.

Yep. Mine was prorated to $1 this month. Also,, wardrobes 1&2 are free to all.

Be careful that $1 is the minimum prorated charge (unless paying with Crysta), so if your monthly billing cycle is starting very soon it might be worth it to wait until you're in a new billing month.

My billing cycle starts on February 10, so last night (Feb 9) after update around 10pm PST I went in to add some Wardrobes - and I would have been charged $1 for each one for a matter of a couple hours, then the full $2 monthly fee starting today. I just waited until after midnight and it was all good.

It's faster. I have some JA-enhancing gear in wardrobes that previously required me to wait for the full load-in to be used (i.e., hit a macro 5 seconds after zoning in, it won't trigger). I used to have a ~35 second wait on that character (with near capacity in all storage locations), this update reduced that to closer to 21 seconds. I certainly imagine it will increase more as I get more total items to fill up additional wardrobes, but doesn't seem like any increases will add up to the baseline pre-update inventory loading times.

ya I was doing apoc trials some time ago in beaucedine, and accidentally tossed it along with all the relic pieces. so I used my restore on that. sidenote: they wont restore my straw hat from my garden cuz I used my 1 restore already. rip

Using the Recycle bin sounds legit when doing farming for pop items in abyssea... few times farming apademak horns i'd pop a gold chest with one of the 3 pop items while already having in my inventory. Can now just drop it pop and reclaim it and go for a second pop

whew, glad I threw away the BRD stuff a few years back so no one could say "well just pull 'em out of your Bin!"
