I foresee abuse being used on the throw away then retrieve items in some way.

I would assume they will use the same countermeasure as Nexus cape, where if you drop it and get a new one the new one will have the full recast wait time. also states that if you zone or log out the reclaim pool will be wiped. so would think you would say your worried about someone doing that for like a Reraise gear piece or the GK Raise weapon in end game content, would really be trying hard. What does this mean everyone switching to Bastok Residency?

Could use the Recycle Bin to store rare pop items in places like Abyssea to make things easier, while praying you don't get disconnected.

That's rare these days. And XIDB minimap doesn't detect anything, npcs enemies etc Inventory loading seems much faster
