Dualboxing

I've recently returned to FFXI. When I was playing ~6yrs ago I was able to dual box with two accounts but now every time I bring up a second instance of POL it crashes. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Are you waiting till one acct is fully logged in to open a second instance of windower? Windower occasionally crashes if the second pol is opened at the wrong time.

Also make sure if you have a Windows with UAC to drop the setting to the one where it doesn't dim the screen as any UAC option will crash FFXI.

If you have windows 10 (and windows 8.1 i think) you need to change the security warnings that they wont go fullscreen. Not sure what its called in english, user account contolcenter or something like that. It will still show the notification warning, but it won't go fullscreen.

@OP: Don't disable defender or your AV. Don't disable UAC. Move the UAC slider down until it says it won't dim the screen.

It can also help avoid some UAC/AV issues if you have Windower/Ashita and FFXI installed in a non-system created folder. (ex: c:/games instead of c:/program files)

Facts. Don’t ever do dumb ***like remove your defenses and I had this issue at the beginning but fixed wish I remembered:(.

Never watched it. I personally avoid titles that I know upfront are unlikely to be appreciated by me. XD It exists, there are people who like it, and neither of those facts bothers me in the slightest.
