Post your findings :)

Vol 1, 3 moogles, 2 of them hide off on sides casting at least cure 6 for 30k hp (in Easy)

An crazy powerful DoT that my whm could not Erase. (assuming aura)

The 2 adds die in one ws, I am assuming they are to stay alive or they wouldn't be so easy to kill

Any progress out there?

From what i found
-Magic sucks (although elemental magic able to be burst with a light SC do better damage)
-Can be silenced, blinded, slowed, frazzle'd, distracted, ect, but not slept or stunned (fast built up resist to silence, once starts resisting, only chance is ELE seal)
-10 yalms is safe for sleep bomb (Somnic Shell)
-Mogsplosion is AoE damage, no debuffs yet (10 yalms still seems safe)
-Moogles off to the side, stand idle, but from what i was told they have nasty auras
-Chainspell 45% (unsure if all the time)
-Seems to gain a boost to Magic Damage curing chainspell

Edit: Aura killed me on moogle since i was BLM/RDM and was meleeing and alt tabbed typin this out
Moogles dies to one Tier 6 aswell, don't seem to respawn after death

Noticed he spawned more moogles directly ontop of himself at some point, these had much high hp than the ones on the side, i gained a 2nd aura while it was up, got add to 50% then it despawned

an Extra 200 gil every single kill for 700 straight hours.

Thats an extra 200m for free for march, delicious.

Tried it on E, Did Hundred Fists, then Mighty Strikes before I died. During the 1hrs it seemed to gain a Kaustra + Plague aura. Didn't touch the side moogles, but one that it spawned had a fair of HP before I stopped attacking.

Spawned Moogle Stewards that sat idle and cause a Dia + Elemental Debuff aura.

Best strat I have found so far is to watch out for the move that summons another moogle (can't remember name atm, invite over or something like that), when he does that pull him at least 20' away to avoid the heavy DoT. (the add doesn't move and he has a very strong aura)

Also it may have been a fluke or something else that triggered it, but i silenced his chainspell and all of the sudden his DoT got like 4x stronger. food for thought

If no one else has more info ill try more tomorrow, maybe its another debuffs=bad type

It seems the Moogle can change the 2h, maybe depends which Jobs are in your party?
he did on me Perfect Dodge and i was alone as THF. "Very Easy"
Gains an Aura during 2h. Gave me HPtick, MPtick -> a bit later HP down and Amnesia too
The 2 adds at start do nothing and didn't summon anything else. But the support with words!


Villainous Rebuke -> Sleep
Stygian Release -> Disease
Infernal Bulwark "wrong Translation?" -> AoE dmg

Can cast: Protect V, Paralyze, Aeroga III, Waterga III, Cure VI, Gravity

All three of those are Dullahan moves, and battlemod errors. When doing new mobs, testers should turn off battlemod so they can see TP moves' real names.

Didn't want to make a new thread for V2, so just some info dump here:

VD -> Scithiraptor (it is a wivre...)

Went in as a DRK with Apoc.

Fight took exactly 2minutes (3 month returnee lvl of gear)

I was 3stepping Cata > Cross > Cata. He took 80.000-99999 damage from each of the SCs. MAYBE linked to WSing during his TP moves, as sometimes he took normal damage, but unless I got lucky with the timing, he took the increased dmg about 50% of the time.
edit: To clarify, he didn't take the increased darkness SC damage all the time, but around 50% of the time.

He has some kind of mechanic, there was a message:
"Defense weakened!
Paralysis and blindness resistance have returned to normal."

Missed first Cata, es expected, but other than that around 1180 acc was plenty enough to hit it.

His hits were around 200-500 to a DRK with DT-10% and Last Resort activated. He used Boiling Blood at the end which increased that to 500-600 but was dead soon after. Clobber hit for 1600 before Boiling Blood.

You can LARCENY HIS 1 hour <mighty strikes, hundred fists, perfect dodge> this gets Rid of his nasty DoT Aura Kaustra

Tested on Very Easy with GEO, THIEF X 2, TRUSTS

MOOGLE ABILITIES USED:
Silencega , Sleepga, Poinsonga,
Shell V Protect V
Tier V Nukes:
Tier 3 -ga spells
Cured itself for 12k

Contaminated Concoction Gave "Diseased"
Single Target: Gravity, Paralyze

Used Hundred Fists, Perfect Dodge, Mighty Strikes
Use of one hour activates his DoT Aura Kaustra

Mog Bombs innacurate, but when they hit caused Knockback

Depending on how large the aura is you may not have a choice other than larceny.

Sounds kinda like teles.

the aura reaches 35yalms at least sooo

larceny is an idea assuming he only uses one 1hr since 1hr triggers the aura

We were trying VD. Aura is zone wide, we avoided the 'moogle add auras' by kiting it 21 away, but the boss always put up an aura after after a 1 hour (we noticed HF, MS, PD as well).
They seem to be HP based as the boss moogle always 1houred at 85% of it's Hp on the dot (according to Mischief). Sometimes the aura would happen immediately after a 1hour, sometimes it would take 20~secs into the Moogles one hour before the aura actually occurs.
We tried a myriad of things to figure this gimmick out, but stopped trying when the sun started to rise...

just a little idea, what if every party member uses its 1hour before entering ambuscade #1, so there's no 1hour ability ready to steal or copy by the Moogle?

Few Notes that needs Confirmation:

-It uses multiple 1HR's and repeatedly.[starting from 85%, 65%, 45%...][Original 6 Jobs 1HRs]
-You have a window of 10 s to run between the moogles to counter its Aura after 1HR or else you will wipe [Regen from Moogle on the right counters that and gives 500 HP/Tick]
-Moogle on the left gives Refresh so probably best for Healers to stay there since you lose all MP if you go to the one not he right but you gain Regen 500/Tick.
-Once it calls an add leave that Add and take [Voyager] to the other Corner to get out of Add Aura, proceed to the next corner if it happens to call another add in the new Corner.
-Add will depop after 15 s
-Subtle Blow does wonders on this [barely called any adds on DNC or MNK]
-Multistep sc is highly recommended [SAM with Fusion > Light > Rad]
-Magical Resist is connected to its DT built over time so probably avoid enfeebling it.[don't silence it unless its chain spell]
-No need for tank
-On D/VD Moogles start roaming around so better lock on Regen Moogle to run towards it when it does 1HR.

Notable TP moves:
[Contaminating Concoction] Virus 10'
[Mogsplosion] Conal Magical DMG + Knockback 10'+Random Debuf
[Invite Over] Calls a Moogle to aid it with a random buff/debuf, its basically a Bubble.
[Somnic Shell] Sleepga 10', 15'??
[Washburn/Money-Thug Thrower]Single target Terror 25 s, //can be resisted// + Bind for 20 s potentially deadly if followed by 1HR
[Crystalline Flare] AoE Stun + Flash for 20 sec 20'

We thought about that, but went to bed before we tried this; worth trying.

Confirmed during ANY 1HR go to Moogles and stand by them, they will give 500HP per tick and you wont wipe from its Aura.

No 1hr stay away from moogles, during 1hr stand near? I ask stand away because you’d want to space out the moogle adds that pop, yes?

As soon as I get home from school, I am going to take sch in and test magic bursting, straight nukes didn't work too well. Gonna Keep side moogles alive to see if they truly have auras. Then going to go in as Sam and try a 6 step if drk 3 step with decent gear is doing amazing damage like that
