Physicist Stephen Hawking dies aged 76
BBC Quote: Physicist Stephen Hawking has died at the age of 76, his family has said. The Briton was known for his groundbreaking work with black holes and relativity, and was the author of several popular science books including A Brief History of Time. His children, Lucy, Robert and Tim, said: "We are deeply saddened that our beloved father passed away today. "He was a great scientist and an extraordinary man whose work and legacy will live on for many years." Rest in peace. Well that sucks. Great scientific minds like his don't come around very often. That being said, living to 76 with his condition is pretty impressive.
Britain has lost a treasure today.
Remarkable man, was only given a few years to live when diagnosed with ALS at the age of 21... he hung in there until he was 76. Please forgive the triple-post but I found this quite moving. Stephen Hawking was a Professor at the University of Cambridge for decades so this tribute to him was fantastic.

Candlejack said: » T'was only a matter of time. One of Alex Jones' conspiracy theory targets has just sued him for defamation. The suit, launched yesterday, seeks to prevent Jones from using his Youtube channel to attack and defame other people. The person behind the suit, Brennan Gilmore, had been in Charlottesville last year when a piece of far-right Nazi trailer trash ran a car into a crowd of people in a terrorist attack. Jones has since repeatedly labeled Brennan as a "deep state shill and CIA asset". Gilmore is also suing former congressman Allen West and Gateway Pundit owner Jim Hoft, claiming they aide Jones in pushing his batshit conspiracy theories. Translation: So I tied an onion to my belt because that evil Republican Trump smells bad...anyways back to my point...the Democrats were trying win back the House...which was the style at the time ! What about great non scientific minds like myself ! I don't even know what an electron is...it's some sort of negative thing. fonewear said: » ... If it wasn't for *** heads like Chuck Schumer we wouldn't have any thievery in this world ! I'll summarize Hawkings a Brief History of time: It all began with a stone.
The End. Viciouss said: » We have never had a WH with this much drama coming from the actual inner workings before. Most of the time its a Cabinet member under fire, but this is a WH that in its first year lost what, 20+ senior staffers? That's being generous, its probably more than that. And all of them left via scandal, that's the problem. It seems like half of them still don't have security clearance because of some legit investigation going on, a lot of them failed to divest their income, others failed to report conflicts of interest, its been over a year and they still cannot get all of their ducks in a row. That's not even addressing all of the very real problems with the Cabinet. It seems like the possible denuclearization of NK has finally sent a wake up call that the bad apples need to get out. That said there is nothing wrong with McMaster, he just looked at the intel and told the truth about Russia, and Trump got all upset about it. But all signs indicate more upheaval is on the way. What the *** are you talking about ? At no point in your long winded incoherent ramble did you even come close to make sense. I award you zero points and may God have mercy on your soul. fonewear said: » Ruaumoko said: » Please forgive the triple-post but I found this quite moving. The average mental age of a FFXIAH is a 12 year old anime nerd that may or may not have pimples.
I am ashamed to be associated with the likes of the following people
Anime Mod CJ Vic And anyone from Canada I think they should start their own video game forum for anime nerds and social rejects. And leave the rest of us in peace. YouTube Video Placeholder Some real Orwellian ***happening here. UK police monitoring people's social media and using thought crimes to control the population. Gowdy breaks from GOP committee, says Russia worked to undermine Clinton

When the most prominent member of your committee breaks with your main "finding," it pretty much derails all of your work. Nothing that committee says should be given any credence, remember the memo? Nobody else does either. |
