These types of personal insults in lieu of political discussion are not unique to Laura Ingraham. The only reason you guys care about this particular case is because she's taking shots at someone who is both on your side and who is supposed to be immune because, golly, he's just a gosh darn kiddo.

Hogg is not in the same category as most of the other victims. Do you really think that everything that he is doing and saying is all his idea, generated completely from his own mind? Of course not. While he certainly is contributing his own views to the matter, he's also being used as a media meat shield to push an agenda.

I'm sorry, I'm all for civilized discussion, but that wasn't happening in any of these arenas before Hogg forcefully entered the front lines, and just because he's a kid doesn't mean he can poke a bear without getting swatted.

If only y'all had the same passion for attacking those who have said derogatory things about Barron Trump, who is both far younger than Hogg and who isn't doing hyper-political interviews and trying to draw attention to himself.

I’m not claiming they are unique to her... also you obviously still don’t know my stance on guns in America cuz he does not support my stance... the idea is that someone like Laura Ingraham continually takes the stance that she or others she support know better yet she takes the path of insulting a 17 yo kid instead of just debating him on the facts... you cant claim to know better then insult a kid over something that has nothing to do with the topic at hand...

The reason you don’t see a huge argument about it is because people agree on this... it’s accepted that it’s wrong to to attack the kid... how do you argue for something we both accept as wrong and intolerable?

I don't think you understand what the word "defending" means. It has to do with the unreasonable expectation that a 17-year-old can be given free reign to spout whatever nonsense he wants without someone attacking him personally. Him being a minor doesn't shield him from all consequences.

If you had a pro-gun kid pulling the same stunts as Hogg, then yes. I would fully expect him to get personally attacked, although I expect that the media would play defense for each other and it would never result in a loss of advertisers.
