Nope. There was intel that was gathered on trump that had nothing to do with Russia. That's why he could talk about it, because it wasn't related to the investigation.

Funny thing is Bernie was never meant to be a serious candidate. He was carefully staged as the "crazy extremest" in order to showcase how modern and "centrist" Hillary was and appeal to the swing voters / fence sitters. At no point in time would the Democrat party tolerate another 2008 where the sideshow won the candidacy. It's a testament to how unpopular her majesty's arrogance is that the weak sideshow old fart got as close as he did. She won the Democrat Primary 2271 pledged to his 1820 pledged votes, with an additional 571 unpledged to Bernie's 45. So even removing the "super delegates" she still wins by a hefty margin. The Democrats wanted her as a President and wanted her since before 2008. She was supposed to win the candidacy and then defeat the generic "Born Again White Christian Evangelical Politician" the Republicans would select as their own. Of course the Republicans failed to control their own primary, Trump defeated them and stole the candidacy from Bush / Rubio / Cruz. He then went on to defeat Her Majesty and stole the crown Presidency from her as well.

We can see the liberals point of view here. Trump unfairly stole the election from them by cheating and not playing by the rules of Political Correctness. So he should be impeached and the crown Presidency should be awarded to the Democrats where it rightfully belongs.

Nunes is walking a fine line, if he intends on making the rounds on tv networks (he has already done CNN) he needs to be very careful on elaborating on what he said today. Just because he is a Congressman doesn't mean he can disclose classified intel. It was already a bizarre press conference, he doesn't need to make it worse.

The thing that every agency agrees happened? Not sure what kind of comparison you're going for.

I don't know what planet you are living on, but no member of the legislative branch can disclose classified intel to the public. Why do you think nearly all intel briefings are behind closed doors? Its up to the executive branch what gets declassified and what doesn't. So no, I'm not wrong at all. That is grade school stuff.

What was released didn't involve the Russian investigation (since the whole point of saying that was to say that Trump was investigated for reasons other than the liberal narrative, which is the Russian investigation).

I don't need to prove anything. Stating that Nunes to be careful about what he says is not an indictment, nor is questioning the legality of his comments. Just because it isn't related to the "Russian investigation" doesn't mean it isn't related to another investigation. Obviously Team Trump was in contact with many entities that the intel community was legally looking at. And Nunes talking about it so openly is questionable.

What other investigation would there be?

Oh right, because Trump ran for president. That's worth of a federal investigation by the Obama team.

Its important to note that everything Nunes said today was speaking about events that occurred after the election. Which, we know all transition teams are monitored after every election, and its completely legal, and it has nothing to do with the outgoing admin, which Nunes emphasized later.
Nothing he said was in relation to anything before the election, which is what Trump himself has been repeatedly lying about, and which is currently under a lot of investigations. So Nunes probably didn't reveal anything classified. In fact, he really didn't say much of anything, so there is no reason for Trump to feel "somewhat vindicated." Its never been about what happened after the election. Its always been about what happened before.
