I Dont Know What To Get From Kirin
I dont know what to get from kirin
ok so my sky shell is doing 2 kirins tomorrow, and im 2nd in points so im pretty much guaranteed something. I have drg 75 and sam 75 so both Osode and Hecatomb harness are viable options. I consider drg my main job but i also realize that there is basically a 3 million gil difference between getting a hecatomb harness and a kirin's osode. I also understand that a hecatomb harness is much harder to obtain b/c its ra/ex. So basically im asking for an opinion poll on which body piece i should get D:

Get an N Body. Osode drops so frequently it will be freelot soon if you do Kirin with any consistency.

as cool as w.legs are im just not at the point where i want them yet. I will be taking rng to 75 eventually (52 now) but i really want to give a nice boost to my weaponskills on sam or drg

Giant tossup between Osode and Heca Harness, with one big consideration: Zahak's Mail rapes the ***out of Heca for Drakesbane (and Penta, if you haven't unlocked Drakes yet). So you either get the best WS piece for your RNG (best TP piece too if you don't have a Snapshot Mirke) and Attack-capped YGK SAM (you'll cap on most lower-level stuff), or a temporary DRG WS piece.
Even knowing you're DRG main, between the two bodies I'd get the Osode. WLegs if they come up and you can lot them are definitely worth considering.

I do have drakesbane (best ws ever) but i'm not nearly wealthy enough to afford a zahak's (the most gil i've ever had is 1.1 mil), in fact possibly the only way i will ever obtain it is by getting the osode and selling it.
The answer is clearly a crystal.

That's a possibility I looked at, but I didn't know how you stood as gil goes. Look at it this way: a Cursed Harness is going to run you 900k, and Zahak's Mail is 5.5M. The money you save by not uncursing a Harness brings that down to 4.6M, selling an Osode (should you choose to do so) leaves 2-2.5M. Spam BCNM/KSNM/ISNM/ENM etc and with a little luck and patience you'll have that 2M. Bam, Zahak's Mail!
Just something to consider. You have 2 jobs that will benefit from an Osode and 1 that benefits from selling said Osode. Choose carefully.

Or Osode, since you can sell it if you choose to later. :s It's really up to you though, Night made a nice point.
You should get the ultra special and ultra rare "Wind Crystal of Kirin". That thing never drops...

I'd say W legs simply because they'll probably be the hardest to get, with the longest line of people waiting for them.
If you really don't like being able to get around faster and outrun everything, get Osode, as you can sell it and buy the N body abj from someone else. Depending who you buy from, they can be fairly cheap.

Why not ws in ACP body? 5dex/str 10acc/att would rock for drakesbane...
Crit WS. +5 dDEX and +3% crit rate beats ACP body. Probably the next best option though, maybe Aurum in between.
Well yes I know zahaks will win... just saying its a good ws peice for those that can't get it and would probably beat heca harness. Especially with the way attack plays a bigger role in multihit ws... and the dex too

If you build it specifically for Drakes (ACC+10 Crit+3), it will be really damn close if not better. In addition, it's free.
