When people didnt know that when you had a stack of a certin item in your bazaar the price it was labeled was not the price for the whole stack. People used to put a stack of shihei in their bazaar for 9k and the buyer would think "hey a stack for 9k!" and buy it, only to find out they just paid 891k for it.
When the cool place to afk was infront of the lower jeuno AH.
When Angel Skins dropped from the Devil Mantas in Cape Terrigan. and were 300k or less.
When 5/5 god gear ment you were god.
Before Drk/KC zergs.
Before the sushi and haste era.
When you could actually make good money off of any BCNM.
Camping Cemetary Cherry for Divine Logs for Shura Gear.
When only 2-3 mnks on the server had Black Belt.
Blm's with Sleepga II, Whm's with Erase, and Rdm's with Refresh were godly. All these spells were over 1mil gil each.
When the Fungus Hat, and other pointy hats were cool to wear, only becuase they looked like an Optical Hat.

Also remember when qufim was worth xping at mobs would give you 200 xp all way to 25 when you then immediately had leave party and ship off to jungle. and everyone would be congratulating you as you went.

When people talked about how rough the game was when it came out and not being able to relate.
I remember standing in jeuno waiting for hours for a PT because no one wanted a mnk besides the JP ; ; although i did speak a some japanese back then after pting with the japanese players lol.

I remember spending 15 minutes while a party was getting together showing a War and THF how to SATA, etc. 2 years later I ran into one of them in a Merit Party. He recognized me immediately as "that taru who taught me how to SATA". It was kinda cool, actually.

I remember zoning into the crawler's nest only to be dead on the other side. Then trying to tell your other party members not to zone into the crawler's nest because of a solider crawler with 10 worker crawlers are at the zone.
And then watching each one of your party member fall on top of you as they are zoning into the area still. Oh yes, can't forget about when the mobs start moving back. It was like a horror movie. You would see ppl everywhere running for their lives.

*spending 600k on Erase, 300(ish)k for raise 2 and making a mistake and spending 796k on raise 3. (laaaaaaaaag issues in lower jeuno..)
*Mining in Oldton and making big money off gold ore and platinum ore because mining in ifrit's was suicidal.
*Taking whm as my first to a DOOMs party with no subjob....
*pcc was over 20mil
*Starting in Windy, the first time finding my way to Bubu and getting my booty handed to me by a gob...
*getting my first linkshell and still talking in /say chat.
*When having a Noble's Tunic meant you had a decent amount of gil.
*Hearing about Absolute Virtue for the first time... Then a year down the road, seeing it eat a full alliance as we try to run to safety!
*Seeing pirates on the ship from Mhaura to Selbina and arriving to Selbina dead, your HP set back in Widurst...
*first time actually seeing a RDM solo something (Kenshey) and wanting to be able to do it myself.
