Revert Ffxi

I havn't been in a end game LS for almost half a year, but I have all the delve wins.

It's called be a presence, go out and find people that do them, worm your way in, offer to help farm beads, ect.

Also, leveling a support job that is decent geared and well played will do tons for you too.

Hanging out on a message board and complaining how you can't get into delve stuff isn't helping you at all, I can assure you.

the reason I am on here is because the game is broken you are also on a different server Odin is Has been broken since they locked all the rmt's there .... there are still good players on odin but the problem is the ones that are greedy to even sabotage knm runs Gm's don't exist anymore to even deal with them.
I was very lucky to get into my first delve party on mnk last week but all we did was farm plasms

Find it hard to believe people would "sabotage" D SKCNM runs (assuming this is what you mean by KNM) for the sake of Delve buyers. Are you relating these due to needing one or the other for making Oboro weapons? Sounds very far-fetched to believe people would have the line of thought that by "sabotaging" SKCNM runs, they gain Delve buyers. In fact, it took me a little while after reading your post to understand how exactly SKCNM related to Delve at all. Think you're just trying a little too hard to find a reason to hate people that sell Delve.

Me too... cause they get spoils too, and it's not hard to get SC's. Just seems really odd to waste your own time and screw yourself out of spoils to mildly inconvenience people...

you mean if you were shouting for fillers in your party you would invite me w/out the delve weapon because that's what I'm finding they wont let me go without the weapon
and yes the skcnm for the TH Knife I had used my orb and the tank midway in Dced and was like LOL whoops and we all died

What party? Delve? We don't take anyone but linkshell members and sometimes a buyer.

I also don't make pick-up Delve groups, but occasionally I'll be nice and offer my assistance to the people that take initiative and try to put their own group together.

1.) Rala skirmish for base weapon.
2.) Yorcia skirmish for weapon upgrade KI and Otronif base gear.
3.) Low tier Ra'z skirmish to 119 said weapon and possibly Otronif. Lower tier because you are doing this with either a 113 weapon, or a 117 weapon from sparks.
4.) ???
5.) You know the rest.

There you go. 119 weapon, Otronif pieces, gil from other drops, all for 30-45 minutes a run.

Well hopefully will return to the era of FFXI preAbyssea with the partys classic, endless variety of events, with all that was at that time.

The problem esque you would have to ensure a high minimum of people playing on the server, it is very important to the health of the game., But I repeat that hopefully will do again one Preabyssea FFXI.

He believed that it was the FFXIV 1.23, but then became what is now a generic copy of WoW MMO.

Don't talk bad about the ayers of Odin. Make friends. Odin has many skilled good players, don't blame your lack of skill, lack of socailability upon 2500 users.

And one or two bad experiences don't speak for the whole server as trash, greedy people.

I really don't understand all the butthurt nostalgia. This game is about 2 things. Current endgame and farming old endgame. Current endgame is supposed to be challenging and for the most part usually is. Balancing player skill level and content challenge is something that requires a lot of finesse and nuance by the devs. It's very easy to make content that's not challenging, but quite difficult to maintain a steady stream of new ideas. We as players always look back at the pride we feel when discovering that gimmick that allowed us to overcome that fight the first time. Looking back a hundred tojils to that first time we took down aura and didn't hit the stun wall while wearing NNI and level 110 gear. Before that, it was finding proc messages on something like provenance watcher, or holding that one nm in abyssea so you could blue proc to get that piece of gear while the one mnk poked it with a staff. Figuring out to use 2x sch for fulltime embrava in NNI, all the way back to the earliest days where you got to come rdm/drk or suzaku or DL for chainstun. kiting kirin until he ran out of MP.

The thrill of the game isn't in the old nostalgia, it's in being the first after the update to run around in the snow of kamihr, or finding the key item "silvery plate" in the ebon panel in the far end of outer ra'kaz and having no idea what it does. If you're so interested in reclaiming that feeling that you're missing, start something new. Make an old school capacity point six man party near the mission place on IT umbrils in woh gates. If you're excluded because people don't like your gear? screw them, but also consider that this game shifted for a moment to a vertical gear progression. Skirmish is fun and easy that you can do with a group of friends. 2 well geared 119 DDs/dnc can clear rala or cirdas 5/5/5 if you so wish, then just bring friends for filler. Yorcia offers an easy job of protecting the tent, just put up some fences and bring balanced damage, I had best results with mnk, sam, drg, sch, geo, blm. Hell, I know of a shell that isn't very good at delve, but they go into fractures to farm the t1-t5 nms, targetting the ones that drop what they need. Claim that you miss the past because it's better, claim that you can't get into new content, you're just deluding yourself. Remeber the past fondly, and embrace the new content. Recapture that adventurers spirit and explore something new next time you get on. I've got marks on my map in zones where there's spots that could lead to new zones, for example on the lower floor east side of the central elevator shaft in outer ra'kaz, there's an inactive elevator which onviously leads to inner ra'kaz (would be quick access if they opened the woh gates entrance to outer ra'kaz). Whenever that opens up, I plan on being one of the first ones in there. Where will you be?

helps to have had almost every good rdm/nin in the same shell at the time, but you're right that kukulkan and turul were a pain when they came out

eve was a joke, and almost everything could be done by 2x rdm/nin with or without pinning

If I was going to revert the game, I'd revert it to 2007. Then I'd make a buttload of gil from crafting and stuff.

Then I'd un-revert it, and swim around in my pre-deflation gil. So cash.

(I started in 2008, so I only got to see the deflation part.)
