was thinking about this more and i'm sure someone could make a windower plugin to auto gearswap and lock a set everyime you zone to make the 'until you zone' part less annoying.
There's a plugin that already knows how long you've been in a zone so that info can be used to time a visual armor swap after 'x' seconds of being in a zone.

Could even have it swap the extra vanity things into and out of your satchel so your main inventory doesnt need the vanity items sitting in main inventory all the time.

The one issue with this is that mages are not going to be able to maintain one set of armour due to the fact it resets when you swap weapon, which mages due regularly.

What im really looking forward to is no blinking if people lock a piece to all slots. Drg pld drk are all gunna be full empy sets and cor is probably gunna be relic set.

I used to have a real issue trying to heal people that constantly changed their gear. Then someone told me about the <stal> macro (which takes a bit of time to get used to), and now I'm not sure how I ever lived without it.

There's an official "blink me not". In configuration menu you can set everyone's clothing to be static. The disadvantage is that everyone looks like they're fighting in level 1 RSE, but you wouldn't have any problem with people blinking that way either.

never used stal, but the sounds of things you'd slow down your reaction time by toggling.. XD

Not sure about spellcast I never tried it before. This should work though for a windower macro.
/Console exec JOB/Prettystuff.txt

yeah for the time being i'll probably go with a consoleexec macro like the one you list.
You still have to wait for all your inventory to load after zoning, i'd really like some kind of client notification when that occurs.

So switching weapons turns it off? As a smn switching weapons each 40 sec... wonder if that's going to bone me or if switching to the same weapon type doesnt affect it...

I think its great they are adding this feature but at the same time I'm pretty skeptical about it. Does this mean we have to carry our town gear with us whereever we go? Because if your zoning multiple times it would seem you would have to keep reapplying /styleon which I believe would require you to keep all that gear with you at all times... = minus inventory space. I would prefer they have an option that saves a STYLE, that way when you do /styleon it loads the most recent style you had used beforehand.

Something negative I can think about this is that people might get a wrong idea of what kind of gear you use... someone who appears to just fulltime reforged AF gear wouldn't look like as good of a player who has a thaumas body, for example. The gear you wear can show most obviously what kind of a player you are, or what kind of content you've done. It's why, even with blinkmenot, I haven't idled in my old AF even though I like the look of it a lot (that and also there are particular pieces better for idling than purely cosmetic pieces).

It actually has the opposite effect. Since you lose the ability to automatically judge people based on a 1-second glance at their avatar, it results in you spending a moment to either pay attention to their performance or /check their actual gear. That brief delay is surprisingly effective. The public schools where I grew up adopted a uniform policy explicitly to cut down on violence and it was a resounding success.

$7 isn't all that huge IMO. What IS huge is the delay cut from 90 days per transfer to 3 days per transfer.

Incoming market troubles!

That said, scheduled for April 1st. Perhaps a jump on an April Fool's Day joke?

This is the main way I have made gil for years. Moving items from one server to another. When building a relic, mythic, Empy, or even selling high end items like delve items. From one server who does it well to another server who is slow at killing.

But this is a great way for SE to make money. You tae someone who has 10m gil and send them out on mules to other servers at 2m each. you can get items that are double on your server. Granted 2m is low, but an example would be better if gave each mule 20m. make the relic in one week.

Actually I think it might be full ares +1, full phorcys or full homam/enif aets always liked those 3 sets.

dude, for pld, i always loved the Iron Musketeer's Cuirass Set, just looks so tanky. makes me smile

Edit: then again, the relic pld looks like a godly/spirital white and steel look that always stood out
