like their delux breakfast, but recently I saw that their pancakes are pre-cooked, taken out from a bag, and just heated up via microwave.
:( shame. was the thing I enjoyed from there asides apple pies. Prefer my own pancakes but with getting theirs, no mess no fuss. XD

Let's see.
Aside from the beef and the pork, everything is pre-cooked. We had it sitting in a freezer maybe days on end just growing frostier by the day. Chicken nuggets? Frozen. Regular beef/Quarter beef/Angus beef? Frozen. McGriddle/Bacon? Frozen. McChicken/Southern Style Chicken/Fish/Spicy Chicken? Guess what? All frozen.
The beef and pork while frozen, are raw and need to be cooked, but in no way is it fresh meat.
Nothing is 'fresh' about McDonalds, and I'm shocked they haven't gotten sued for false advertising whenever I hear the word 'Fresh' in their commercials. There is nothing 'fresh' about McDonalds, and to be frank I only go there for ice cream during the summer.

Okay, so "turning over a new leaf" with some people...
Go to Waco next time, that's a quick drive (for us locals, a quick drive = less than an hour away).
And damn it, now I'm in the mood for Mexican!
That one word put me in the mood for Czech Stop in West!
EDIT: Ummm...So, you don't live in SA? It isn't less than an hour between SA and Waco. It takes me an hour-and-a-half going 75, and that's a straight shot on 35.
If he's actually in SA, he's an hour south of me.
I need to get some soft tacos now. Only if you are in Austin. If you are north of Austin, it will take you an hour just to get through it!
Why you no toll-road? TXTag comes cheap. It takes me 40 minutes to get to SH130 from SA, and then another 2 hours to get past Austin.
Not exactly a time saver there....
Boo-urns! I can get from Cesar Chavez to the Hutto's tollway/35 intersect in a half-hour. You need find some better routes, sir.
Or are you always in during rush hour? I don't go to/thru Austin often.
I'm assuming that you are talking from Round Rock to 45 through Austin. Correct me if I'm wrong though. If that's 35 minutes, that sounds about right. Still only 15 or so miles for 35 minutes.

Just slightly.
I think the beef is too, but I'm not 100% sure.

Anyone else happy or hoping that they do? I'm on the other side of that spectrum, I hate having to go early in the morning, wanting burger/nuggets and getting the "I'm sorry sir it's still breakfast time, we are only serving breakfast" . . .
This is why I prefer Jack N The Box when it's early in the morning, I get whatever I want at whatever hour I go. Then again I'm weird at I'm okay eating a burger and fries at 8-9am in the morning...

Also, lol at $3 Egg McMuffin. How many years were those for a dollar?
Those are definitely 2 for 3. That deal is usually my go-to unless I have a coupon for a "big breakfast".

I couldn't eat an egg first thing in the morning. Bit too heavy for me.

The deal changes from Egg, to Sausage, to Biscuits (at my store we hated the Bacon Egg and Cheese biscuit deals because they always flocked the stupid people that wanted to either replace everything and still get them for 3 bucks or had to order 10 of them at a time, usually right when we were switching over.)
That place is the reason I hate working Sundays. /shudder

Why would you eat something not of your or your family's creation in the morning, in front of foul smelling strangers?

And I would take it back home, I don't eat there! I don't live with my folks no more, but when I go over, I try to go over early enough to enjoy a family breakfast.

I'm dead serious: breakfast is evil.
Egg McMuffins burned down my village and forced me into the mountains while legions of McGriddles followed in quick pursuit. I was held at muffinpoint by sausages that were later replaced by elite pancake troopers bent on taking me back to a coffee gulag.
I'm only here because of Orange juice and the rebels in the oatmeal division.

Quote: McDonald's is in the early stages of looking at whether it can make breakfast available later in the day.
Fans of the Egg McMuffin and Sausage Biscuit have long wanted the option to get breakfast at McDonald's after 10:30 a.m. But offering both the breakfast and lunch menu was considered logistically impossible, given the tight kitchen spaces of the restaurants.
Still, it's an option the chain is eyeing more seriously at a time when people's eating habits are changing — particularly those coveted customers in their 20s and 30s known as Millennials.
"We know, as an example, that breakfast on the weekend cut off at 10:30 doesn't go very well," Jeff Stratton, head of McDonald's USA, said in an interview.
Stratton declined to provide any details on how McDonald's would adjust kitchen operations to make breakfast later in the day.
"Well, we're just beginning. ... We're just taking a look at it," he said.
Taco Bell Breaks Out of Shell With New Morning Menu
A representative for McDonald's, Lisa McComb, said after the interview that there are no tests currently in place for the extended breakfast hours.
McDonald's has long entertained the idea of serving breakfast throughout the day. But the chain has been inching closer to making the idea a reality as it faces heightened competition and slumping sales. Last year, for example, the company began offering an "After Midnight" menu at select locations. The menu, available from midnight to 4 a.m., consisted of a limited mix of breakfast and lunch items so kitchen operations wouldn't be overwhelmed.
The push to make breakfast outside normal hours also reflects how McDonald's is working to keep pace with shifting habits. In particular, executives have noted that customers increasingly want foods personalized to their tastes and schedules.
To cater to evolving tastes, the chain is also offering newer items such as chicken McWraps and the option to substitute egg whites in any breakfast sandwich.
As for extending its breakfast hours, McDonald's is known for treading extremely carefully when discussing any tests or potential changes. Such matters are considered sensitive in large part because they would require the support of the company's network of franchisees.
In the U.S., about 90 percent of the company's more than 14,000 U.S. restaurants are run by franchisees, who bear the responsibility of training employees and buying new equipment to accommodate any changes.
Hoping that they do extend hours, tired of sleeping in (totally my fault) and rushing to McDonalds before 10:30 on weekends. >_>
Anyone else happy or hoping that they do?
