Plugins broken via Version Update
Anyone having issues with Timestamp this morning?
I was going to say no, but I see what you mean now.
Anything that comes in two lines gets dumped down an extra line ie: [time]X casts Cure [time] Y gains HP [time]XP/Master Chain [time] Gains XP/EP [time]Casts Dia [time] Target takes damage. RoE messages are unaffected. Right, it's cutting off the last character in the previous line and then adding a line feed
Are you guys using the dev version of windower?
Nope, whatever it downloaded this morning did it.
should be reverted now, you will probably want to shutdown and log back in to make sure nothing is still running with the library that had been updated.
if someone can let me know if that fixed the issue i would appreciate it :D I’ve not been able to make the new autoex addon work for character specific init files (init_charactername.txt for example).
Anyone doing something for character specific init files? Anyone doing something for character specific init files? This might be a solution https://github.com/johan-sorman/Windower-addons/tree/main/addons/init Not sure what plugin it might be, if any. But I've started to randomly lose target lock since update.
Not super helpful I know, sorry. Guess I'm just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? You are the first to report it, havent seen anyone on in the discord support channel for that issue.
when you say randomly, during combat? just looking at a target that you have locked on? are you changing gear? During combat, locked on to a target, gear lockstyled and no blinking. I'm really starting to think this might be a me problem though and I've been unlocking target subconsciously. All my plugins spit out this error

![]() edit nvm I fixed it :^) Did something change with send or something within lua? I just noticed I'm unable to send text via auto-translate through send, but I 100% absolutely used to be able to do this.
ie: //send @all /u {Hello!} (for the silver voucher) used to work, but now the text is loading stripped of the auto-translate markings. There was a change in addons using the string library to support quotes via send, maybe that broke auto-translate.
Might be it's stripping or escaping the auto-translate characters. Dodik said: » There was a change in addons using the string library to support quotes via send, maybe that broke auto-translate. Correct The ability to send autotranslate strings will eventually be available, but for now it is not EventuallyTM What was the greater good reason to have the ability to send autotranslated text over send removed tho?
Bidder broken pls hlep ><
just saw the fix, thank you!

Nah, it was not removed on purpose and it was a side effect of the double quotes update. It will be reinstated eventually. Lili said: » To cause issues to you specifically of course, duh! It's not an addon, but this keeps happening. Just wondering if anyone else keeps seeing it.
Minor annoyance at best to run it again but it's getting old. ![]() It's 1 character in each pack, crashes don't fix it, restarts dont fix it, updates dont fix it, not specific to win10 or win11, happens on both. Usually when this happens its a day or two and it just goes away. It's been 6 weeks (since october update). I don't remember the name of the addon, but I'm no longer getting an audio alert when someone sends me a /tell.
Quetzalcoatl.Aarahs said: » I don't remember the name of the addon, but I'm no longer getting an audio alert when someone sends me a /tell. Its called Chatmon. Double check that you have it downloaded/enabled as an addon now, as it used to be a plugin. Then check your settings in addons/chatmon/data/settings.xml to set DisableOnFocus to false to ensure it works on your active window. the above is a great.
in addition to that i did finally get around to writing the documentation for the addon version, which you can find here: chatmon ![]() Something is broken with the ability to copy paste after this update, control V has to be pressed twice or held down for some reason
Console commands don't work, either /console exec "name of file that inputs sellnpc all the garbage in my inventory" doesn't function. Is the paste completely broken, or does it still work just with some quirks? Because ctrl+v doesn't work natively, it's a keybind to the paste command https://docs.windower.net/commands/input/#paste
I use Joy2Key to make certain buttons on my controller input keystrokes such as pushing the Options button does "windowskey + z" which is set to a windower keybind that does "/jump" for example. The keybind still works when physically pushing those keys on the keyboard but the game doesn't seem to recognize inputs the same way as before if it has 2 keys like "ctrl + z", "alt + z" etc.
My right trigger is set to input only "F8" and it still works fine, but anything that has a combination doesn't seem to work anymore. However, I noticed if I spam the button quickly and repeatedly it may work 1 time out of the 30 times I pushed the button if I spam it quickly, not sure if this has anything to do with the post above copy pasting sometimes having to be pushed multiple times that I also noticed. Thank for your help! |
