Summing it up, Youth group leader told my friend that she is going to burn in hell bc she does not believe in god.

How about that most of the Bible can be back up by archeolgical proof example the story of Joseph is historically found in Egyptian writing. And the Exdous of the Israelites from Egypt. i think its a fine topic to discuss. just not fight over. but studies do show that atheist understand the christian way more than christians understand the atheists way of life. i think all christians should be more open to views from all sides instead of shooting them down one by one. but atheists shouldnt go around trying to convert believers into non believers either. and personally i believe that a youth group leader shouldnt be on facebook fighting with a teenager over religion.

one thing he doesnt know is that our generation is so far the highest percentage of non religious people in a very long time. people are now choosing there religion for themselves. (or no religion at all) so he cant expect every teen to be on his side.

My cousin and I used to spend hours in a particular msn chat room debating religion. We'd get people like the guy above, and we'd get people that were reasonable.

We're agnostic, btw.
