I don't win at monopoly so I don't have that problem. A friend of mine always wants to play Monopoly every time he's in town with me and another buddy.
Afterwards they always say they're never playing with me again.
I'm on like a 2 year win streak <.<
I thought it sounded fun. Since most of us are on during the day anyway. Need writers and people who want to play and are pretty reliable to not hold up the process. I hear Kingsomethingsomething used to be a writer. No idea who that is.

Since I felt it needed to be said, I should mention that the type of roleplay I used to do was typically more adult than this forum would allow. :P
I've since renounced such writing since I am not so overrun with hormones anymore <__<

What's the difference between writing and moderating? Well you can do both, but moderating is just rule enforcing and taking the votes/actions of the players. The writer just makes a story of the events that transpired each turn.

the medic (open known role?) can save this person, or just someone at night, foiling the the assassin / mob?
how does the leader of each role pass down the info to his minions if his role is secret?

I am mildly interested but not reliable at all.
In the past few years, I have signed up to like 5 different roleplay forums of the normal kind. I do it for like a month, then get bored and wander off. :|
I am an elaborate writer too, if past experience is anything to judge by.

So I visited the local University today as part of a field trip for my help desk class at the local CC.
Was talking to one of their phone support persons, they were talking, we were talking of the program they used to log the "customer's data" and how it's outdated etc, and I started talking about how they should recompile a new version since they have a license for the source etc, and they explained to me that they weren't even a computer major/minor.
They were a freaking art history student.
Now why in the *** is a *** art *** history student being a help desk person?
So next time you call help desk, and they ask you to leave a comment about how the service was etc, explain to them that you want competence over a false smile, because it's this kind of *** that has spawned this bastardization of the industry.
(like earlier in the semester the prof. had us install windows 7 as a lab and write instructions on how to do it, when they don't even know how to do it (for those who don't know, installing windows 7 is *** stupid easy)).

Since we all can't be on the same linkshell in game, this can be our cross server linkshell thread.
Like most linkshells, it can be pretty dead at times. Other times it's full of intense conversations about either rl, gear, goals, pokemon or anything else you want to contribute.
We can cover any sort of topic at all, within reason of the forum rules. No real main topic, just a bunch of FFXIAH friends/people coming on and discussing random things.

Kungfu is the LS nutjob, spouting super random things that are usually sexist, until Savvy or Alyria comes into the room. Then he's a classic case of sexual harrassment. Rumaha is also true to the second part; we're wondering about his sexuality though.
Daj is Ludoggy's gay lover. Not much else is known about this Asuran. Tairo is kinda new, but since is a female and Alyria's lesbian lover, she fit right in real quick.
Celene(F) and Rowland(M) are more of the shyer members, but often say things that are witty, have a good pun and sometimes cause three page discussions. Celene hates when people hit on her. It doesn't stop them from trying.
Krizz is just social and likes to kill time here during work Tbest is about the same, except tends to be a douche to guys and affectionate toward girls.
Alyria is the most social female, gets groped a lot without provoking it by others, and Tairo ends up stabbing people for it. Cai is just a barrel of lols, I might be gay for him. If I wasn't straight.
Not sure about Citag, s/he's new. Kiriyu is just an in-out kinda person. Says one thing every three days that every guy makes a big fuss over. Ludoggy gets really defensive since she's asian and underage (might be 18 now).
Artem is the wayward soul that makes you ponder the meaning of life by constantly reminding us life can suck. But he deals, and so do we. About the same for Savannah, except people are more "AWH!" to her because of a vagina involved.
Dasva is the ex military man (as is Krizz but this doesn't apply to him) who hates the world and plots a way to destroy most of it.
Number2 is kinda like a mix between Cai and I; never bashes, likes to laugh and has odd avatars. His current suits a lot of the convos this LS gets into. Barti is most well known for his moustache. He gives mousatche rides for a fee. I'm missing a few people but whatever. CARRY ON!
