Was back reading Ni, since my last post...Am I ok? Well I guess... I'm still fairly pissed, and as a result of last night, my leg is still somewhat numb... It flares up in times of stress.. My injury is from when I served in South Korea, in the US Army's Artillery Division. We were supposed to go on a road march with all of our gear, as a training exercise. It was supposed to be about 10km, but since the higher ups didn't really recon a route, the path we took went way way way off base and up many very big hills (basically we treked through some mountainous area of Korea), and when the path we were on finally led back on base, it was a few miles from our barracks... Needless to say the "10km" road march turned into like 15 miles... took 4 1/2 hours. And the "Don't you dare quit" mentality that was en-grained into my from Basic Training didn't quite allow me to quit and jump on a vehicle to take me back to base. So the road march took its toll on my body, near instantly, and I have nerve damage in my right foot, all the way up to the small of my back on my right side. Occasionally, I have some bad days and such, and since the age of 20, I've needed a cane to walk. Some days are far worse than others, and as a result, I'm left crawling around my apartment. Yes it gets that bad... I'm not quite wheelchair bound, but I do feel that I'm losing function in my leg gradually, so I might eventually. I do often worry if I will completely lose function in it. So the incident started off innocently.. One guy asked if I could walk, and I told him that I honestly cannot on some days. And then another guy asked if I can jump... this is where it started to go down hill. Then the second guy went on about a kid with no legs and one arm breaking some world records in swimming... or some ***. It then degenerated into some other ***....and the straw that broke the camel's back so to speak... was a guy asking me if I had spinners on my wheel chair...
I can sort-of understand, I had surgery on my feet which involved breaking every bone in my feet (both of them) and pinning them where they were supposed to be, as a result, my toes are slightly crooked, and at 21, I have arthritis. Oddly enough, I wear Vietnam era Jungle boots, and occasionally those padded military socks (I love those). The thought that I may, one day, be wheelchair bound has crossed my mind. Last Monday, I had a 19 hour work day and was on my feet all that time, as bad as that hurt me, I can't imagine walking 15 miles. I'm sorry that happened to you. They'll get theirs, eventually.

I figured it was a fantasy, sword & shield type game.. Then I saw screen shots.
Well hope this game was at least worth the 5 bucks :x the gameplay looks nice, but I heard the combat system is the only thing really lacking.

No idea, but I've taken Percocet and been able to walk properly, but if I get excited at all it'll make me sick. Xanax, of course, does nothing for me except a full bar will put me to sleep... But it does make me wreckless the next morning.. I once kicked a friend down the stairs at school, shouting "This is sparta!" I woke up in the second-to-last class like "Where am I?" I've built tolerance since then, tho. /end drug talk >.>
