Any ideas on what the new animator may do maybe one to improve mage stats? The new bayld gear is a few content levels below Delve Group 1 so I can see it being a weaker version of the Alternator.

I'm kind of wondering why they need to implement a limit break quest for RUN and GEO that will then lead into the AF quests. Why do they even need to do a limit break quest at all? I can't think of anyone who would have RUN or GEO as their first high level job.

Wrong, they've been phasing out PS2 limitations. Item storage is server side, not client side. They've said they don't want to increase inventory because it would increase character size server side therefore causing longer loading times and more lag.

I can't think of anyone who would have RUN or GEO as their first high level job. One could start and decide they want that to be the first 60+...or a geo mule, it's possible. It has to be there.

Honestly, in my opinion, it should have been there from the start. There's already been more than enough time that I'm sure a couple RUN or GEO got halted at 95. Completely unacceptable.

As a developer myself, I can't understand how it takes them so long to do basic things...
Other than the fact the one developer that the FFXI team consists of only works on XI for one day a week, the other 4 he works on XIV... I guess?

I'd like to make an announcement about the next version update.
We’ve been working extremely hard to fit as much content as possible in the July version update so everyone can enjoy it over summer break, but due to balance adjustments, bug verification, and localization work we will be splitting up the update into two portions, the first taking place on July 9th (Tuesday) and the other taking place the beginning of August.
I apologize to everyone who was looking forward to this.
Below I've written out a comprehensive list of the content that will be implemented during each part.
