Never heard of an Emulator?

Playing Final fight 1 on zsness emulator right now. >_> I would love to play a video game knowing save states isn't an option... also hunting down certain roms can be a pain sometimes..

One thing I like about Cheater-Save State is it shows you just how short games really were. If you don't have to worry about dying and starting all over again, those "Epic long games" were really only 2-3 hours.

I'd love another breath of fire game, or a new suikoden!

Lol, back then they couldn't make games that long, so they just made them super difficult which is fair imo,

I wish games had harsher punishments for dieing these days....

Everyone says new school gaming is easier then old school gaming, I don't think new school gaming is easier they just punish you way less for dieing.

Imagine if you got only 5lives/3continues in a game Like Halo If you loose all 5 of your lives you start the stage over, all your continues start the whole game over.

hell the last boss in Infamous 1 took me like 100tries, and that's not even an exaggeration >_>.

I swear if Gabe doesn't say anything about Half-Life..

The internet explains to me why the Anal Probe is necessary to gaming and i've been missing out the past 30 yrs.

I agree, but also, the people who have grown up playing games have a lifetime of muscle memory and reflex development based around these games too.

I think the Gamer community has been looking at at Half-Life (ep.?)3 as the Second coming of Christ* at this point. The best thing that could happen but we all know it never will.

*Inb4 can't have second without a first.

maby they'll announce ff7 remake OR the rumored game of FFX Prequel where you play as Jecht, Sir Braska, and Young Auron?

I've pretty much given up hope on ever seeing HL2:E3, it'll just continue in HL3, and Valve's "console" launch would be the perfect time to launch that rly.

This is actually a rumor for a PS4 service, with their recently acquired Gakai network, they would host different tier pricing plans to "Stream" games.

The quality would probably only be 720p capped but I've personally tried it out myself on pc and it worked out really well actually. I think it took 25~30seconds then the game started and there was no lag or anything while playing. Everything saves to the cloud so the next time you load up the game your progress is right there. I personally Can't wait, and i really hope their answer to no backwards compatablity is something like this.

The game i played was uh Mini ninjas i think. and i got to play the entire game if i choose to for free at the time, but i ended up playing for 15mins then going back to some stupid abyssea ***probably lol. (this was around a year ago ish)

Yeah it wouldn't make sense for Episode 3 to be released this far along the development process, honestly. But, it would be interesting if Episode 3 was instead to be played as a "prologue" segment in HL3 before the beginning of the story starts.

There are a lot of things I'd like to see, and quite a few of them are unlikely (things earlier posters mentioned as well such as a new Legend of Dragoon/Breath of Fire). Would love to see some info on a new Uncharted, a new Dragon Age, and anything at all on The Last Guardian since that's way past due at this point. Anything FF related, especially FFXIV, will excite me as I've always been a FF fan.

Also, anything involving Mass Effect and I'll probably cream myself on the spot.

There was a Rumor running around that the next AAA status Mass Effect game would be a Space Combat game set during the Turian Unification War.

I personally think someone was just making a mad troll on the Bioware social forums because the design doc was almost identical to the Colony Wars series. (A great series to ripoff if they wanted to, but very unlikely still)

Considering EA is a trend follower, and avoids Niche' titles and genres like plagues, I can't in any realm of existence think it was true. I'm just going to assume the next Mass Effect game is going to be a Prequel to the events of Mass Effec 1-3 in the time period prior to Earth's discovery of FTL transit (The Charon Relay), back when the Nation States still warred amongst themselves and splinter radical groups. First Person perspective with a 6 hour campaign and a focus on Multiplayer, possibly with a cat companion who's model is made from scans of an actual U.S. army Service feline.

Well they are making another Mass Effect, but whatever, I don't give EA money.

M$ Paying Third Party Publishers to not show PS4 games at E3?

Not sure if there's truth to this as i've yet to confirm via another source, but if it is true, then shame Microsoft....for shame..

I don't know why any third party publisher would do that because in the end they are only hurting themselves.

That is pretty amusing, not that it matters. Sony can just get up there and announce all of its games without the third party studio being there. Its not like Microsoft can pay these devs not to make games, contract is already signed and the games are in development. What a waste of money. Microsofts partnership with EA and lack of current gen headset support has pretty much driven me away, and their constant dodging of always online and used game policy is also very shady. They are clearly desperate for attention.

I just kinda figured that it's more of a show of desperation than anything. I may be wrong, and probably am, but maybe Sony caught M$ with their pants around their ankles when they announced the PS4. It might have been a timing issue, or something else. To me, the XBO conference seemed a bit forced, sort of like they weren't quite ready to present a finished product. I think they just wanted to answer Sony quickly to keep buyers interested in their product.

Assuming this is true, which I wouldn't doubt actually, this just reinforces the notion that Xbone is so bad, having side-by-side comparisons will make the flaws of the Xbone obvious.

It really sounds like Chinese Sabotage to me. Use inferior versions of existing IP while suppressing the better versions.
