Addition Of New Familiar Pets

I'm excited they're adding new pets jugs that will be stronger that the current pets we have now. Any guesses on what these might be?

Could be pets with more elemental resistance. since they have already implemented water resistance for multiple pets (gerard, fargann, dapper, etc...), wind resistance with dipper, fire resistance with sieghard, light resistance with falcor, and dark resistance with cetas they might cover the rest of the elements.
That would blur the line between bst and smn but it seems like theyve already made head-way in that direction. A possible way to equalize this would be for avatars to eat their own element but pretty sure we'll all be old and gray before the dev team agrees to that.
In terms of pet type/family, theyre probably going to include new (or newer) families like peiste or chapuli. OR they could continue with the HNM pets (ralphie) and include a little behemoth & wyrm (thats what im hoping for most of all).

Falcorr isn't light resistant.

Judging by the nature of the post thou, I don't think they're planning to add pets with elemental resistances that specifically compliment the jugs we have, but rather they're planning to replace/obsolete them. As in, falcorr and gooey going the way of courier carrie.

The topic was basically 'how do we keep pets proportionally relevant as player stats go way up', and their answer for bst was 'new jugs', so yeah.

New jug pets will probably get the sizable stat boosts PUP automatons got with the release of the Alternator. Which means that you can put those Charm sets back in storage again (though they were never really that useful for Adoulin).

Probably wont be cheap but im ok with that if its a significant dmg increase.

Still need a bird bet... so Bee maybe? Maybe a bat pet.......
We got an adamantoise too though some maybe even sillier than that.
Probably will be a Raffelesia in there just cause.
I would like to see some Adoulin pets though
Chapuli and Acuex pets might be decent.
I don't see them giving us butterflies but who knows, Falcorr was a big enough surprise back then.
