Quetzalcoatl.Generic said: » It's no troll homie Are you a GM now? SE should consider Krizz an aid to their servers since everyone who used his or the BG one didn't bog down the update anymore than it already was. Hell... they should consider starting their own external hosting mediums. POL can't handle ***.
i can confirm the shards can drop in colonization rieves.
The shards drop off regular mobs as well in the areas they are verry common. we went to pop one last night and otw there we killed mobs wile waiting for everyone to gather and got 4 more probably in 15-20 min. These are far from rare they drop like logs in VW
So what comes to mind is the following:
1. Either SE is looking "Stupidly" for a mass rage quit of players. 2. SE "Stupidly" thought that they'll make people happy with the new weapons found in the .DAT. 3. SE "Stupidly" trying to attract more players by having those weapons after it incurred financial losses. 4. SE's best way of "Stupidly" saying to the old school + new players who worked hard for their R/E/M (with or without your consent) we'll do whatever we DECIDE is right for you slaves of our game. 5. SE plans to enhance R/E/M to match those new weapons in god knows how long since SE isn't a customer oriented company and It decides "whats right and whats not". 6. Enhancing the R/E/M in whatever way to make it better than a weapon that is from what i understand is crafted or done via synergy is just a big slap to people who farmed their items and used their precious time. 7. Finally to SE...You've lost fans all over the world...and sadly you're "Stupidly" continuing to do that...Its hard to know what sick mentality is leading you at the moment...but I guess closing all the servers at once and ending the game as It Is...Will save you the disgrace you drove your previously famous title brand...Final Fantasy...SE you've really demolished a name that was associated with greatness in the minds of people...Good luck on your conquest of greed and losing customers. From: A previous fan, Currently a disappointed fan. /sigh... Watch the REM update be being able to "break" your weapon and permanently learn it's WS... Hey now you can use Scourge anytime without your Ragnarok equipped. Surely that's what you guys wanted...

Also, rumor has it that you can just "use" the Yaggzi items that are dropping on yourself and gain Plasma. So some rich guy should be able to bum-rush their way to a D200 weapon. I've used the all of the Celadon Yggrete Shards and I/II/III give 100 and IV/V give 150. So, about 200-300 shards are needed for each weapon if the value of that bow(30k) is similar to the others. I've been able to get about 20 shards in under 3 hours of 4-boxing reives and occasionally killing enemies while waiting for reives to pop. So, as long as getting the initial kills on the NM is achievable in the next couple of weeks, I don't see any reason the majority of the active playerbase won't have at least one of the new weapons by the end of May. People worked day in and day out to get weapons that were only slightly better than what they had before, so now you might have to do that for something that's significantly better? The way I see it, as long as a weapon is better, people will still press forward relentlessly to achieve it; it doesn't matter if the increase is DMG+5 or DMG+100. I mean, moving an Empy from 85 to 90 is, like, "Okay, I see a small difference in the DMG rating and STR+5, but I don't really feel it." I still fought all the Isgebinds for my 90 Masa anyway. As long as some kind of improvement can be had, people will still vie for the best items.
Go for personal enjoyment if stats aren't enough. At 80 cap, even when I knew Ace's Helm was going to be obsoleted by AF3+1 head, I still pressed forward and got it because I wanted it. It was rewarding because I worked tirelessly and it drove me mad at some times. Sure, for some people, it was easy to obtain, but for me, in my situation and context, it was arduous and required a lot of patience on my part. Technically speaking, I probably gave it more effort than 90 Masa, but the helm was more satisfying because it required a lot more than just continued effort. If that's not enough, you can just leave, I guess. When they said buff R/M/E,didnt they say they'd make them relevant again? Not make them top?
People seem to forget this Edit: posted in the wrong thread, but I guess its related here too My Armageddon is as relevant as ever. *hairflip*
Bahamut.Krizz said: » /sigh >< Sorry Krizz So is Skirmish completely pointless now?
I wouldnt say pointless but its already outdated. Although you may need/want those weapons to make yourself usefull to attain the newer weapons as even 99 REM are missing swings w/ low dmg WS on these new NMs. Fully buffed i hit a 3500 reso on drk/sam Vs a T2 Delve cricket in Ceizak, otherwise only averaging 500-800 WS, 150-200dmg on landed hits and missing more than expected.
So id say it Cant hurt to do them if you have the opportunity to, its easy to do for a decent weapon that will help you on Delve specialy if you dont have a 99 REM id highley suggjest one. Yea, cause I want to beat on a root or a wall for a full month, all day every day to get some piece of equipment. Thanks, but no thanks. I honestly haven't stepped out of Ciezek or the hunting grounds since I've had the expansion because so far I've felt it's been a bit disappointing and this update reinforces that thought. I was more or less pointing out the eventuality of the weapons reaching most players hands, not recommending doing reives to farm for them. Killing regular enemies has a better drop rate anyway(which is a nice substitution for giving bayld since these things won't drop below 50k for a while). Valefor.Sehachan said: » A blu with that club and Realmrazer could laugh at a 90 Almace o.o I'm still cynical about requiescat Somewhat concerned about the new NMs in delve. Previous content allowed you to use a variety of jobs to do events. From what I've read so far it seems we'll be all pld/nins with sam/thfs all over again. A lot of the new weapons are great and all but wtf is the point if you can't even use the ***.
Then there is magic/pet jobs. Are they just screwed? is the magic adjustment so *** amazing that'll make them even considered a damage source again? ps. did matsui basically said in a post somewhere to change jobs or gtfo for new events? I remember reading a dev post that sounded like that. To your last question Matsui basically said designing content where all jobs are warranted is either impossible or not worth pursuing from a design perspective I forget his exact wording.

If you dont have any of those you should not be playing paladin. atleast in the highest end content. Can do lower content with full haste and adamas :<
True but talking mostly about end game.
