This is true. The difference is, on the JP side, it gets significantly more views. I posted some Monk ideas on both forums, and within a week the views on JP side eye tripled with several thumbs up. I highly doubt many NA players regularly use the OF anymore
Anyone intelligent that posts worthwhile stuff on the OF as an NA is banned. literally. They don't tolerate intelligence over there.

First, I understand that this is more than likely a waste of time, but it doesn't hut to try. I was going to post it in the "Report a bug" section on the SE official JP Forums, and word is something like: First, treating it like it is a bug and pointing out every other job it activates for, but not Monk. Also pointing out that understanding and appreciating that if it Activated on both hands on a attack round, it would be overpowered, but point out again that it doesn't even work on 1 hand, and ask if they are aware of this/if it is a bug. Also ask, if they are aware of this, if they would consider changing it to activate on at least 1 hand, and also point out how Monk needs a update and is lacing compared to the heavy DD's etc. I am not familiar with google translate and I'm having a hard time wording this correctly. IF anyone has some free time I would appreciate if they gave it a try putting something together and posting it up on there to see what they say (If they say anything, which as many pointed out it is doubtful) Thanks guys Where does Kaja fit in term on non REMA h2h?
It has 15 less damage than Jolt but 5 more Vit and Str with an added 10 dex(raging fist and dragon kick rejoice). 10 more acc and 25 Attack on kaja than jolt. Tho does that make up for the 15 less damage? Is asuran fist still garbage? I probably already know the answer, but... Someone posted on the OF that the "asuran fists" +50% wasn't even functioning. So there's that, but I don't know anyone that actually got them yet to prove it... since most of the people that "test" things are functionally HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE...

But way back when it was new, pretty much all the people you look to for info on here (and bg) were banned there.
Testing asuran +50% is pretty simple. It's a large increase (still low damage). Very easy to eyeball. If you do 10k in jolt, you'll do 15k in kaja. if it is working properly. That's very obvious. Given that Asuran Fists generally blows: simply doing one Asuran Fists over 15k is proof enough, since it hits (used to) around 8-12k.

Man even if asuran fists got +200% I believe it would still be mediocre at this point lol. Maybe even 300%
Next update they will likely take best non-rema spot (still dont use asuran fists!) For right now I would still just use jolt, or comeuppances, if you're lucky/crazy enough to actually have em. (*) Can't really recommend Su5, just a waste of time and money... they're better but yeah. How to fix Asuran Fists...multiply dmg for every hit...end result 80k-90k dmg weapon skill.

Pink and reds and whatnot mute the glow. Terrible aesthetics. But I also hate the yellow +3 boxes and afterglow farts... so... Wear it with a moogle suit like a proper villain.

Kendatsuba +1 legs and feet were giving slightly less DPS (Usually something between 50 and 200) so that's still an option if you need MEVA. Also Kendatsuba +1 legs were used for Footwork set with Spharai, because otherwise it would be a lot of wasted Kick Attack rate. Like you see, surprisingly sweet spot for some builds is to actually WS at 2500TP :O That being said the difference in DPS for most of this builds between 1500TP and 2500TP is very small, so you can WS slightly earlier. Tornado kick set?

This reminded me Simon, the focus on White DMG for MNK was brought way back, before updates, when Raging Fists were higher on AVG than VS for Joltz +1, Veret, and GodHands.
I believe it was mentioned somewhere here, and now after seeing your calculations, this incentivizes White DMG even more post update, making the idea of holding WS preferable and borderline more meta for MNK when Impetus is down. Edit: Page 198, had to look it up.. |
