I feel deprived, I've never been to a Chipotle.
True story no joke at all. My RL best friend came from out of state to spend a few weeks with me. I asked if he's ever been to chipotle and he said no.

When we got home with the bag and he bit into the burrito... I will NEVER... EVER... EVER EVER EVER... forget the look on his face and the ammount of sounds coming from him as he was eating lol.

He ended up moving to another state a month later and messaged me: "OMFG THERES A CHIPOTLE NEAR OUR NEW PLACE. HOLY ***I FOUND THE PROMISE LAND".

I laughed for forever.

Lets not make this all about you.

I think a lot of why people feel that way is because they aren't really educated enough as to what they actually need to be healthy in terms of food.

Really, its likely a lack of food education. Its just really interesting how our views are different then the rest of the world.

its every more odd that our serving sizes have gone up a lot since the 30-40 years ago.

I agree with Kimble. Being stuffed means borderline sick afterwards, unable to move, bloated, etc. I like to feel satisfied, when I'm not hungry and still feel normal.

Having said that, I don't like wasting food, especially at a restaurant so I try to eat it all.

I never said that it was a good thing, I agree that it's a problem, mostly with the food itself.

Doesn't change that some people don't feel full until they are stuffed. I just don't agree that the cause is them being gluttons.

I find that the majority of fast food restaurants food isn't that filling.
Mainly things like mc.donalds, wendy's, burgerking, carl's jr, taco bell, jack in the box, chicfila. because mainly the portions are stupidly small and overall food quality sucks.

If you go to other places for lunch like tinos greek cafe, chipotle, subway, you can pretty much get the same priced meal (maybe it costs a few extra dollars) but over all you get way better quality food, actual adult portions (not this kid/i'm in middleschool) crap.

The only fast food place where I can order something and feel full is probably whataburger and sonic. (not like omg i'm going to explode full, but more like hey, that was a good meal, i don't want any more food, i'm satisfied full)

Really, that just kinda shows my point. Those serving sizes seem small to you, but for people in the rest of the world, they are actually large.

You're the one who made it about me when you decided to attack me personally because you didn't like what I said.

I don't think it has much to do with what people "think" more so with what people feel.

Sizes may go up, I wouldn't say the quality of food does.

For those who don't have a Chipolte around them I would recommend looking for a Qudoba.

Honestly to me they are both just as good. Others would disagree though i'm sure and pick one over the other.

Agreed but I'm also a master in the art of leftovers, I'll swoop up the the whole damn table and craft new meals off it.

Yes, eating extra "for the baby" is looked down on actually. The baby ravages you for everything they need. The reason you take vitamins and the like is to replace it for your own self.

I have extreme morning sickness that doesn't really go away, so I spend most days hardly eating anything. I have nice days where I can just destroy a plate of food, though, and when I have those days, I sure as ***make em count.

Your morning sickness sounds so debilitating. So glad mine wasn't that bad, and the only noteworthy incident was more embarrassing than anything else.

/comfort

I read that figs and fig juice can help with nausea during pregnancy.

Would have to drive into Dallas for either of them and that place be scurry'.

There's a Taco bueno near here but I've never even been in it. Is it similar or just a Taco bell rip?

I'd prefer not to derail a thread with something so piety and instead talk about how we all love tasty burritos.

The queso at Qudabo is really great in my experience.

Hyperemesis gravidarum is what it's called. I think it's the same crap Princess Kate came up having. I lost 22 pounds in 3 weeks from not keeping food or water down. It's calmed down some, but its prolly around til I have the baby, and when I get sick it's like hella violent.

SO YEAH GUYS, if I whine enough to go to Chipotle... do I get a bowl of something awesome or a burrito of something awesome? Suggestions!

Man v. Food is kinda misleading. That show is specifically to glorify massive portions and eating competitions. Most everything they show on there is a special menu item at whatever place he's eating at.

Portions are out of control here, imo, but that show is insane.

Ginger is downright amazing for easing the stomach. It rivals Dramamine in cases of motion sickness even. It all depends on how you can deal with its taste, I personally like it, but I know a lot of people who can't stand it.

If you want more meat and better ingredients try Qdoba Mexican Grill. They are a chain competitor of Chipotle and 10x better in quality and taste. They have options of brown rice, whole-wheat tortillas, and have variations to their menu on a daily basis. Also I find their prices to be a bit more economical. They also serve breakfast burritos with the option of egg-white. They are basically Chipotle but with a healthier and larger menu.
