The Parthenon: A Warrior's Kyklos
Haha playing around with L1 SC properties.
Impaction -> Detonation -> Compression -> Fragmentation -> Fusion -> Light All these extensive chains... I have trouble finding targets that can even survive that much damage (either that or finding something that won’t interrupt me mid-chain). I usually push 2k Upheaval > King’s Justice > Upheaval for a quick 3-piece Radiance and will typically 80~100% an Apex Toad/Jagil :(.
With SAM Roll, it’s usually only one extra attack round to hit 2k+ So not a terrible DPS loss either imo Offline

Three step light / radiance on lower HP targets, four step on boss's and things with a couple hundred thousand HP or more. The five and six step are really just for playing around or doing something cool. xaniko said: » What's the best non REMA GA? thanks! One from Kyoru is great or an augmented Agonoshe. Offline

Almost positive Moonshade for nearly every DD is Acc+4/TP Bonus +250. Nothing else will come even close for the latter augment, damage-wise (ws-modifier dependent of course)
TP bonus is basically a mandatory augment for every DD. 4 acc or 4 atk are the generally recommended other options. I've actually gone for the 4 MAB option, but that's rather niche and it's just because I'm on COR the vast majority of the time. Just do TP bonus without a doubt and the second choice is preference.
So I've been using Emicho +1 body and hands to try and maximize DA/ACC while keeping my Ragnarok to a 5-hit. I just snagged up a Dagon Breastplate and was wondering for those who have it, how do you work it into your sets?

Your losing 5 DA and 32 Accuracy for 11% extra damage on DA's. The result is about 9% more melee damage but significantly less accuracy and ~2% slower TP gain. Our damage split is usually something silly like 80/20 or 85/15 so that 9% melee increase gets watered down dramatically but the 2% TP gain isn't very big either. I'l eventually get them to mess around with but their not high on my priority list. Mostly it's a wash with one side having quite a bit less accuracy which for high MA Monte builds could be a bad thing, wouldn't matter much for Rag builds but those use Ody legs for the badly needed Store TP. Which is my other complaint about Relic +3 legs, wish they had some amount of Store TP, like +5 or something. Body has the same problem, Valorous can already get DA +7 and comes with Store TP +3. BG Wiki states the damage applies to both hits of a DA. Any idea if this also works on WS? Ramuh.Austar said: » doesn't work on ws That makes me pretty sad. It would be a nice boost to Resolution if that were the case. I wish it worked on WS's, as it stands it's just a nice boost to melee damage. The JSE cape already gives +20% DA Damage, so in high DA setups it's a noticeable damage boost. No one has made a warrior guide for bgwiki yet.

DirectX said: » Is Raetic Algol better than Montante+1 even if you ignore the MP benefit? No Monte +1 beats it if the special effect isn't active. It's the Store TP +11 and TA +5 that does it. Assuming you don't need the accuracy that is. Bismarck.Vize said: » i was looking to see if 119 emp war feet are still the best for ukko's fury or if i should be using war AF+3 feet instead DirectX said: » I was assuming you are benefitting from the acc. Also what if the effect is live 50% of the time, for example? Rag would likely be a better option of Accuracy is necessary and your not benefiting from the OAX. For WAR Raetic really isn't that useful outside Escha or lolAbyssea, it's the MP supply. 250MP means 12.5% chance for extra hits, which isn't that great but at least something, once the MP is gone then it's just a high DMG GS with some accuracy. The effect is drained per attack round not per tick, so I don't think it follows the Rune weapons 50% effective method. Now Monte +1 has +5% TA and +11 Store TP regardless of MP supply, which is very noticeable for TP gain rate. So your WSing more often and those WS's are hitting harder due to more spare TP overflow. |
