meh be nice to have somthing rewarding to wasting the last 5-6 years on this game. give me a boost in the new game or somthing lol.

I'm with Haseyo. This HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE PROBLEM WITH LEETISTS. You spend years getting the best gear in the game, then get asshurt when something fresh, new, and most likely better is released. Enjoy the game. Games were meant for fun. If you still have genuine FUN on FFXI, then stay. But if you stay because OMG I LOSE PIXELS! ...I pity you. Hase and I will see you on XIV when FFXI loses it's purpose.

well what if its a standard console rpg with online parts like co op etc or summat like that?

I want to run in down and screem "THERE'S A GIANT...THING OUT THERE IN THE WOODS, CAREFUL." and hearing people walking around saying "Have you seen the giant red creature out there killing everyone?" and not just "Look on wiki" for every little thing. Where's the excitement? ><;



Seeing that the title is the exact same as the FFXI title with -----Online----- under it kind of gives away the fact that it's an MMORPG just like FFXI.

I truly hope it has more customization, more like .hackish. >_< FFXI models look stale and droneish.

Isn't Microsoft supposed to be coming out with a new console in the next 2 years or so? Maybe SE can't say it's gonna be for that console until MS announces it.

look whos talkin , you probably a 360 fan boy keeping on bashing ps3 yet ps3 never breaks down like 360s red ring of death on soo many consoles. you get what u pay for and ps3s are literally indestructable and also a great blue ray player. ps3 is a great console.

I'm not a fanboy, I think exclusives are stupid REGARDLESS of console. Especially when said consoles cost a small fortune to most, and the games ain't cheap either.

Don't think anyone else saw your post, figured I'd give you a hand. Give it time, it'll come to 360. This is gonna be just like the Fallout 3 DLC; a timed exclusive on PC and one console and then BAM Multi-plat.

advantage 360? gears of war? only reason i buy the console yet it has some serious durablility issues, not gonna get into a debate on console wars just didnt like the bashing on the PS3.

As a PSWii60 owner, I say shut the *** up about the console war BS. >_> Exclusives are only to attract people to buy a system. But Square was never about selling systems. They're about making money. They go to whichever system is making the most cash for what they're putting out. And another MMO is gonna make them huge cash whether it sucks or not. tbh, FFXI isn't a great game. More than half of us wouldn't have played it if it didn't say "FINAL FANTASY" to begin with.

It will be multiplatform. This is not open to debate because saying otherwise is ignorant and most likely to be a troll sparked arguement. If it didn't say 360 yet, SE is waiting for the new Xbox to be released...FFXVI won't be out til at least '11 anyway.

I got suckered into this too! ; ; I got the game and thought the intro movie was kick ***! Then made my character and thought "wtf there's no battle going on..And this bagpipe music is gay"

I think they are going to massively dumb it down since they are after the WOW audience.
