Thinkin About Server Jumping...

Hey, this is my first post on FFXIAH so please bear with me... I have been on the Fenrir Server off and on for the last 3 years and it jsut isnt the same. So i am thinking about doing a server jump and dont really know where to jump to. Was wondering if people from some of the different servers could give me insights to their server and help me along. Thank you so much for your assistance!

They're all the same.

The servers are all the same.. its the people you associate with that are different. (meaning, if you have ***friends then you wont have fun on any server) Bismarck, Phoenix, and Asura seem to be the more populated servers if you care about that. Bismarck is awesome imo.

Leviathan is pretty terrible tbh, I wouldn't choose this server.

Word is Bismarck or Asura, dont go to Shiva.

Stay away from Quetzalcoatl, far far far away. It's terribad.

I heard some of the other servers are better than the others... i am just getting tired of the crap from my server...

Bahamut seemed to die off a few months ago late night NA time (after 8pm PST) but it's slowly coming back. Not sure what happened? Maybe Alei's LS pulled enough of the late night crowd in to us lol.

Alei's LS isn't a bad thing as long as you can handle carrying like 6 linkshells on you because he has like 10000 people in it ;) It would at least give you a good foot hold into the server, help with your gear, and maybe make you some friends here.

We don't have many NA shells that do Legion. A decent amount of Japanese who do it though. Lots of VW shout groups going on usually.

Not my choice. Friend had my char for awhile.

Don't do my mistake, I've been in Ragnarok for 7 years, on & off occasionally throughout the years , last time I took break was year and half ago when I came back I found my LS "previously called EternalCalm" totally dead & whoever remained playing joined LS called "Profit" .. I didn't want to join that LS just because they seemed more of hardcore/too serious about the game than my casual playing style.
I had two of my best friends moving from Ragnarok to Shiva before I took break , so my instant reaction after I came back was moving to Shiva instead of giving Ragnarok a chance .. Result? My friends barely play .. Shiva is so dead server with all my respect, the only shouts I see is RMTs selling leeching spots in abyssea, occasionally VW , no provenance shout, no legion shout, & I really don't know any LS that do big events in here that you can join by application rather than invitation.
So yeah I canceled my character to save money, will wait cooldown of couple month before moving back.

Asura is horrible though... lots of shouts but high levels of derp... Kinda looking around to leave myself... thinking anyways...

Fenrir was always a terrible server.Asura is just full of drama.Ragnaroks a drama free server for the most part but a little too quiet shout wise.

Phoenix is one of the most populated servers and nothing happens most of the time. Game is stale in general, hardly anything would change by moving over until new updates come(and no, I don't mean Meeble Burrows <_<).
