Yeah, it does have an SD slot. You can use SD or an external hard drive, I remember reading something about being able to use up to 3 TB of space. I'll see if its been said how big of an SD card you can use.

It's nice Nintendo are allowing Third Party External HDDs. I just hope they don't do the format limiting like on the X360.

Man, I need to save up a bit more before this comes out. I'll h ave about 70 dollars in Best Buy Certificates by then so will prob use that on a few games. We have Arkham City for the PS3 (not goty) but i might have to get it again for the Wii U. Also, think I will pick up Ninja Gaiden.

Launch lineup really. I've played a lot of the games before, but it sort of tells me they'll have a solid amount of third party support for the console. And yeah, knowing I'll be able to eBay it for like $700 if I don't want it helps. Sold a few PS3s for $900~

Since the PS4/720 likely won't even be out till 2014, Nintendo should at least get a good 2 years of 3rd party support.
With as much support as Nintendo is getting right out of the gate, really don't see why they can't keep up with it.

I'm honestly surprised that RE6 hasn't been announced for Wii U, thats a huge title and Capcom normally makes games for all of the systems. That would go a long way for third party support.

Are there any stores that didn't do preorders? In-store, I mean. I know Walmart had advanced layaway, and Target.. From the sound of it, some of the Bestbuys are doing midnight openings on the 18th where they'll be first come/first serve, but someone else was telling me Bestbuy had in-store preorders too. so confus... I half wanted to camp one out but I'm not even sure which stores will have any that aren't already spoken for

Best Buy Wal-mart will still get alot of extras. The Best Buy near me (NJ) got 50 and only 25 are pre-order.
Can try places like K-mart or even sears. They won't have a lot but they didn't take pre-orders.

Well the game reviews are starting to trickle in, and ZombiU got panned. Not surprising since its Ubisoft. I definitely won't be buying a Wii U at launch, prolly wont consider it until 2014.
Wii U has a 5 Gig update when you get the system to use it online.

I'm sure Sony is sad that someone has taken their title for annoying system updates.
I updated it yesterday when it got home, I just assumed Nintendo download services were getting hammered, I just found out it was 5 gigs, yesh.
Also that really doesn't shock me about me about Zombie U, cause all I kept seeing was sizzle reels about all the 'cool' things in the game, I just wanted to see like someone play it for 15 mins.
So the fact it comes off as shallow doesn't shock me. Nintendo land is really friggin' cool though.
