Tactics, 5, and 12 for me. The original Final Fantasy Tactics remains my most favorite game ever to this day.

They spent too much time doing everything else and left so much potential out of what matters most, in my opinion anyways.

Genuinely can't decide on anything over another... the only one I DIDN'T care for was 9 somehow... I should give it another try though but i recall hating that one.

8 (i like overly complex junction system sue me, cute love story), 10 (ending made me weep), 12 (combat system was fun, liked the rare monsters, Basch /drool)
Don't have a top 3 but all-time fav aside from 11 is FFIII remake on DS. Super fun i'd highly recommend ^.^

9 was a perfect game (character wise, music wise, exploration wise, setting/environment, the card game! etc.) and then X came out with the new addition of voice acting, CGI and the tragic ending almost made me cry..I was super impressed..but I choose 9 first because it was perfect without the fancies. 7 has to be up in the top three because it was the introductory FF for me and my siblings.
I love 12 because the voice acting is superb and the fighting style is reminiscent of FFXI.
