Would be pointless in my mind for the most part. Simply because with knowledge of the game/farm spots/exploits etc most RMT would be back to full speed in a day or 2. Sure it would settle things for a week maybe but then we would be right back where we are. Not to mention I bet money more then half the fan base would start an uproar. It's always a two sided sword. Personally I wouldn't mind because the idea of an even playing field would be awesome but I know it won't happen.

I will continue playing reguardless as most will until I find it lacking enjoyment. Kinda like when I quit ffxi. Off and on since it's release. I just do my thing hopefully make some friends along the way with some stories. HEY you remember that time we finally killed (insert mob or act here). SURE DO CUPCAKE goodtimes.

There is an obscene amount of duped gold in circulation, economy is entirely *** if they don't do something.

Personally I doubt the RMAH will open today. Will find out in a couple hours but I doubt it. Blizzard can't be that blind hopefully. Though they might not care. But with the hints towards upcoming bans I think it will be locked out again until they feel they got a handle on things. Though short of taking all forms of AH/trading away it can never be contained. Basically it's f*cked period. Just to what extent will be up to blizzard.

Whether he abused it or not even I am disgusted that he openly admitted to doing it and basically taunted a community rep during his feed. The rep posted in the thread about it and then Kripp actually responded in the feed by saying something like "Oh it isn't real? teehee we just did it."

Advertising an exploit in such a way is just foolish, could you imagine running at 800% movement speed in neo-nyzul right in front of a GM and being like "look what I can do weeeee *** you GM", it's almost clear in this that blizzard just doesn't *** care.

He's completely trolling, that's shopped gold. I believe he was a victim of having his gold stolen via an AH cancel though, that and he had friends who confirmed the gold dupe to work before it was hotfixed. He hasn't duped any gold, guy isn't an idiot. Dupe=ban.

Blizzard completely cares, considering that they want a functional AH to make more money off of. They have already started banning a lot of people who were using tools to bot gold/items and I'm sure they will ban anyone that they can who abused the gold duping.

Shopped or not he openly admitted using the dupe, he should lose his account for even saying that, end of story.

The more I look into it the more obvious that was a shop, but there are definitely how-to videos out there showing dupes of up to 2 billion at a time and saw one vid of someone with 6 bil on them.

If you had been regularly watching his stream you would know that he isn't duping. He's a pretty chill guy and gives a great amount of info to the public on game mechanics/build stuff.

I keep up with Kripps stream as well, he hasn't used the dupe exploits before the hot fixes, he likes to joke around and say "okay guys going to go dupe some goblins cause we exploit and stuff here."

Whether he does it or not even saying he did or advertising the process or provoking a community rep should be enough grounds for some sort of action.

If any of us went into Jeuno and started shouting "NI 1/6 SCH can I have it? Mod your lamps, winning with clipper 800% lets go!" or some ***like that you know what would happen. We have all seen screenshots or videos of people in this game getting temp banned or warnings on their accounts for joking around about such things.

When you look at people like Kripp with a fan base it should be even more important for him to not encourage people to use such exploits and Blizz should be making an effort to shut that kind of ***down.

Joking around on a livestream is clearly encouraging people to dupe, there is quite the grey area on "exploits" anyways. There is a huge difference in telling someone of an easy farming or exp spot, and telling someone to go dupe gold and ban themselves.

Currently, I don't know of alternative client that is available for use, I'm sure there is one out there or something, or they wouldn't have bother to have mentioned it.

As for explots, what can we call an exploit in a game that was rushed out the door? I don't see in their user end agreement that I can't bring 4 people to Hell Beliel and chain 8 Beliel exp rewards off of it to get to my level cap faster, and they mentioned nerfing the exp crap with ZK and Az, but there are tons and tons of ways to get exp and Beliel is just one example of how you can do it, I can think of three or four other instances that are available still that would net you about as much as Beliel, if not more.

Also would going to my desktop, and changing my clock back to cancel an auction that isn't selling be considered an exploit? what if the date on my PC just happens to be wrong? lol :/ Bliz fix your ***.


Just clear acts and pick up what drops, ZK, Az, and Ashes got patched so farming gold outside of Hell / Inferno without a 5 stack is abyssmal if you're having a hard time keeping up with the auction house economy.

That clock thing bugs me to no end... why would they even do that ***?

Today isn't 1.03. It was in the maintenance notes but it was some minor fixes unless they added stuff at the last moment.

As far as the clock being used to cancel auctions I don't have a big issue with. The fact that they wanted us originally to keep stuff up for 48 hours and even 36 now is semi-HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE to me. I understand why but a 5 minute window leaves little room for error. Even more after a maintenance or hotfix where a stat all of sudden becomes crap or awesome. Then your sitting with stuff on the AH that either no one will buy or will get bought in a couple minutes just to be reposted and a higher price.

As far as Kripp, Athene or any of the more popular streams goes who cares. Defending them or not it's silly. Kripp advice giving while helpful and nice is not his. It's info other people crunched the numbers out for and he just repeats it without giving any credit to them. And while he might not personally "hack/cheat" within guidelines of the game his buddies sure as hell do. And most admit it under fake troll names. Athene is just as bad. So are many others.

But take it with a grain of salt. Getting mad at them or praising them only feeds their popularity and for what they play games big deal. I mean if they can make a living off it hats off to them. I am sure many would like to do the same.

It would be like me attacking the president for everything that is wrong with the country. Sure many bad or good things happen while they are in office but if you really think 1 figure head dictates why it's happening you're sorely mistaken.

Just did some inferno Act1 last night, got to skeleton king and couldn't beat him, I'm still using my Hell gear, and I gave up because I lost my 5/5 NV during the attempts and it got late.

If anyone just hit inferno and wants to farm/try it out/have some fun let me know. Prolly run through Act1 from the start again.
