yeah the shadow things are making it hard to keep my HP up on my Monk, I have a good bit stacked right now but he chews through it like it's nothing.

Do your followers level up simultaneously? Or is it only when you have them with you?

I don't think its actually 100k >.> most demon hunters rock Sharpshooter.. which throws off the dps

They all level up at the same time even if you don't bring them with you.

at 57 mines 30k.... with maxed SS bonus D: crappy 15k dps

my natural is nearly 40k with ss bonus its little over 70k

I don't think Blizzard knows what "temporarily" means.

his damage is the same with or without sharpshooter. damage is a number that shows damage over time, hence why attack speed plays such a large component to its number.

sharpshooter is a garbage passive, it doesn't actually do anything except guarantee your first attack is a crit. after that your crit rate is the same as it normally would be.

I've actually geared improperly because i had sharpshooter up for a bit. Sharpshooter takes emphasis off crit hit rate and puts all emphasis on crit hit damage increase, which until you hit certain actual ratios is bad.

Silly/Stupid/dumb question but how do you calculate your base DPS? :|

if you're looking for the damage number it shows up on the inventory menu. true dps is much harder to calculate.

Sharpshooter isn't bad. Its pretty good when you're trying to find mobs or if you're kiting and can't fire a shot off. And your crit rate goes up constantly until you crit

I just love rangers whatever I play, kinda a signature style for me, so I naturally went with that on Diablo too..and in fact I like it the most.

Thinking I wanna make a Melee character to play aswell as my WD, would Monk or Barb be the better choice? (Inferno-wise)

both are tanks really but I think barb becomes overall better with the right gear. But I like monks...for obvious reasons >_>

Solo it might be ok, i've almost exclusively partied on DH, but i might take cull the weak solo over sharpshooter. i'd have to do more reading.

theres definitely a fall off point for chr when it doesn't help at all.

DH seems to be the most OP to me (yeah yeah nothing is OP blah blah blah). I am basing this on Athene, if you don't know who he is he was the #1 geared etc DH in the game for a while before he showed his password on his livestream and got his ***jacked. I don't know that it would be because he has only played DH so far but his was so gross, he killed inferno butcher while looking away from the screen in 3 seconds.

The guy is a huge douche apparently (I just learned about him after youtube linked me to him after watching a couple tutorial videos) and he takes gold donations from his fans, so he didn't really earn any of his gear either times (apparently he is on top again?).

That being said there is also the dude who soloed Inferno Diablo on Barb so who knows, maybe its just the good players who are OP lol.

i don't think thou know how sharpshooter works... but anyways a dps of 50k is right. without ss is right... with it... idk how that math would go. since it steadily increases until you get a crit hit.
