i Think a good cor one would be more similar to irvines limit break in ff8. Just mash he hell out of your keyboard/controller for like 15/20 seconds lol

Just having fun here. I know some may seem OP, but they are 2-hour abilities after all. Used in a pinch, they kinda make sense.
WAR - "Uber Strikes" (Name pending, lol) Duration: 00:01:00 Description: Announced at Vana'fest. Attacks become non-elemental? What would be a more awesome 2-hour... WAR - "Blitzkrieg" Duration: 00:00:30 Description: Gives the user +100% double attack rate. All attacks stun the target. MNK - "Uber Counter" (Name pending) Duration: ? Description: Announced at Vana'fest. Every attack is countered? Uber counter is pretty cool, not gonna fight it. THF - "Gambit" Duration: 00:00:30 Description: All attacks have the effect of Sneak Attack and Trick Attack for the duration of the ability. RDM - "Conglomeration" Duration: Instant Description: Applies the currently active enhancing magics on the user to the party members within range. Thought about Counterspell for RDM, but then again if I used it a monster would quit casting magic while it was active...lol WHM - "Elysium" Duration: Instant Description: Grants a powerful regen and re-raise to party members within range. Re-raise effect has no weakness. BLM - "Providence" Duration: 00:01:00 Description: Allows the use of special spells, Breakga, Slowga, Bindga, Blindga, Graviga, and Death. PLD - "Radiant Allure" Duration: 00:01:00 Description: Every attack the user recieves will raise Attack, Magic Attack, Fast Cast and Cure Potency by a set percent. DRK - "Bordello of Blood" Duration: 00:01:00 Description: Potent regain on the user. Successful attacks raise users haste by a set percent. RNG - "Torpid Aim" Duration: 00:01:00 Description: User gains 100% recycle activation. Ranged attacks fire instantaneously and possess additional effect: gravity. BRD - "Orchestral Finale" Duration: 00:00:15 Description: Unlimited songs effects may be active upon party members in range. Songs are instantaneously cast. I don't play BST, but this sounds cool. BST - "Vicious Cycle" Duration: Instant Description: The current jug pet recieves Regain and Regen. Every enemy defeated raises the pets attack, defense, and attributes. SMN - "Celestial Expulsion" Duration: Instant Description: Avatars gain new 2-hour abilities. (Won't go in to detail. lol) NIN - "Shadow Walker" Duration: 00:01:00 Description: Shadow images regenerate. SAM - "Comprehend" Duration: 00:00:30 Description: Enhanced counter rate. Counter attacks are weapon skills. DRG - "Lancet" Duration: 00:01:00 Description: Jump attacks gain a potent HP drain effect. Wyvern attacks lower the targets magic defense. BLU - "Animosity" Duration: 00:01:00 Description: Physical spells gain TP for the user. Magical spells drain HP depending on damage dealt. Breath attacks do quadruple damage and instantly cast. COR - "Gunslinger" Duration: 00:00:30 Description: Allows the use of Quick Draw without expending charges or cards. PUP - "Marionette's Wish" Duration: Instant Description: The automaton becomes a real being. All attributes and stats are greatly enhanced. Lasts until defeated. DNC - "Fandango" Duration: 00:01:30 Description: A samba effect that drains HP, MP, and grants haste becomes active. Regular attacks may grant finishing moves. SCH - "Prodigality" Duration: 00:02:00 Description: Allows the user to use all MP toward the cast of any one spell. Spell effectiveness is enormously boosted the greater the MP consumed. Breath attacks do quadruple damage and instantly cast. One of the better BLU ideas that I've seen, but it'd also have to make breaths ignore enemy resistance to some degree. I like the smn idea, although I think second Astral flow pacts should be a given now.
And blm getting death on a 2hr would be pretty neat too. things i'd like to see, but pretty sure will never happen
war -deals double damage whm -grants party with auto-arise mnk -shunko blm -spells deal double damage thf -checks treasure pool, and removes an item from the list rdm -spells have triple the potency pld -damage reduction buff with uber stat increases drk -summons an arcana floating weapon, attacks give tp to user. bst -turns into a raging mandragora brd -changes the current battle music to a song from their computer rng -grants auto barrage, doesn't consume ammo sam -weaponskills form skillchains regardless of weaponskill combinations nin -summon 3 ninja allies to fight along side with. they explode when they die, or end of duration drg -your wyvern turns into a giant dragon. it deals tons of damage smn -summoner can use every ability of avatars for a period of time blu -tentacle rapes something cor -pirate ship comes out and fires a full broadside pup -automaton turns into a mech. fires missiles and stuff dnc -forces the enemy to dance for duration sch -asks the enemy if they're smarter than a 5th grader volkom said: » drg -your wyvern turns into a giant dragon. it deals tons of damage Phoenix.Dinah

Also, it seems like DRG may yet get the wyvern upgrade with the new expansion like the WotG DRG...her name escapes me at the moment.

MNK - backhands his own stepdaughter NIN - pop smoke and vanished infinitely PLD - forms a phalanx like true spartans PUP - does something even more stupid and completely irrelevent RNG - its own RA backfires and shoots himself in the face RDM - dualcasting SAM - its blade becomes a giant cucumber SCH - lol smarter than a 5th grader SMN - summons yo momma and the rest of the 8 planets to play pool THF - TH Actually works WAR - Causes his entire party that is /war to attack him WHM - Continues to not cure other players until he is the last man standing. Stackable with Bloodrage and other WARs who use this 2hr in the same party.
BLM: ManaFlood: Increases spell potency by 1.25 and reduces recast time and spell cost by 50% for 60seconds. WHM: Grand Barrier: Grants a potent buff to all party members that gives regen+100, all elemental resistance+400, and immunity to ailments(petrify, plague, etc) for 5 minutes. THF: Lacerate: All attacks during duration have a powerful additional effect of non-elemental physical damage that varies with level.(lvl99= 300 dmg) Additional potency for higher levels of TH on target. (ex: TH5= 50% potency bonus) Lasts for 3 minutes. RDM: Engrave: During duration Enspells are four times as potent and are given to party members within the Red mage's proximity(40 yalms). Lasts 5 minutes. MNK: Ki Charge: During duration Boost(s) effect doesn't wear off under any circumstances. Duration 10 minutes. PLD: Grand Shield: Grants all party members -50% pdt that stacks with other sources as well as breaks the cap, halves their enmity, enmity generation and grants the PLD auto-cover to anyone in alliance. Duration 2 minutes. DRK: Black Onslaught: Target takes a powerful 5 hit attack from DRK that does severe damage, lowers target's defense, magic defense, and removes up to 5 buffs on target. Duration of debuffs vary on TP when 2hr is used. 100=60s 200=180s 300=320s. Mods: STR 100% FTP: 10~20 based on tp BST: Beast Nature: Pet receives 20% haste, attack, defense, evasion bonus. Duration 20 minutes. Brd: One-man-band: Allows brd to grant 2 buffs of the same song allowing it to grant a total of 4 songs minimal. (ex. Minute 4x2) Duration 3 minutes. RNG: Sharp Shooter: Doubles TP gain from attacks and grants maximum ratk/acc bonus regardless of distance. Duration 4 minutes. SAM: Mujin: Grants SAM 40 STP, 40 Save TP, 30% WS dmg bonus, and 10% haste. Duration 4 minutes. NIN: Name pending: Grants auto-double attack(can proc on other forms of multi-hit as well as having other forms of multi-hit proc on it) on both hands and doubles shadows gained from utsu spells. Duration 5 minutes. DRG: Ancient Bond: DRG and Wyvern are given a 40% attack, defense, and magic defense bonus. Duration 10 minutes. SMN: Blood Seal: Grants avatars a 30% damage bonus and reduces bloodpact recasts by 30 seconds. Duration 10 minutes. BLU: Azure Boon: Physical spells become non-elemental physical and are given a 20% damage and accuracy bonus. Magical spells are given an innate 30 MAB/MACC bonus. Duration 10 minutes. COR: Sleight of hand: Forces the rolls under duration to automatically be XI. Duration 3 minutes. PUP: Syncronization: Grants master and automation 15% haste, attack, MATB, MDB, Def, bonus. Duration 10 minutes. DNC: Center Stage: Doubles of potency of all JAs(DNC JAs) and reduces their cost/recast by 50%. Duration 4 minutes. SCH: Name pending: Increases potency of helix spells by 1.25 and lowers recast time of spells by 15%. Duration 2 minutes. |
