Well if you want to nitpick, a bst isn't soloing these mobs, their pet do the fighting for them while the only thing they do is use dawn mulsum to keep the pet alive. Kinda like being on a melee job and have a pocket whm cure you.

I think a PLD with Aegis AND Ochain can solo these too (saw a pld solo Tiamat on test server, not sure about JoL) but well its easier on BST since you dont need "good" gear.
And they dont need to nerf bst, bst is a solo job get over it or lvl bst yourself...

Not even close to the same, no job in the game has 2 char, theres no downfalll to having a personal whm. BST has penalties for having pets, our only offensive job triat is fencer and defesive is killer effects. Muslums dont stack and go for 8-10k, unless u have cooking it gets expensive. So i think its a fair trade to have pets.

can nerf bst all they want ill still use it and still outdo most people in dyna with it and when people start sniping mobs i always have the option of linking all ja mobs and "kiting" them till ja time is over then move to next camp and repeat

not that i fight more than my mob plus the occasional link im not greedy but i am irrational when angered

I really hope SE does not continue nerfing ***, its nice to have certain jobs really shine in certain events.

Bst is an amazing job it's just the attitude of some BST's really urk's me. It's like old school RDM back in the day, it shines such a bad light on the pro and lovely BSTs.

There are many nice beastmasters in dynamis!! Dont let the bad experiances get you down :p (I sam in dynamis and have only ever had 2 BSTs really grief me, like taking proced mobs off me)

last time I checked bst can get up 87.5pdt and mdt. Its cool,but what is that really good for? solo killing really slowly?. I prefer just getting a group and tearin stuff up >_>.

It all has to do with dynamis cause no one gave a fk about bst till we started pwning dynamis. Now that the job is running the currecy market ppl are mad cause this effects their relics/gil. BST will never leave dynamis so the sooner ppl accept this the sooner we can stop having the bst hating topics every week.

hell with all you whiners and BST haters that had SE nerf my BST TH...now i gotta run with both my chars and you hafta deal with me 4hrs a day...and if there's no mobs up and you're holding 3 in a corner i'm jacking them >8)

Nerf or no nerf, I'll still be doing dynamis as BST anyways.

its not really about bst being good at dynamis at all. its about bsts taking it too far an pulling half the camp and then slowly killing them off, and getting mad if you snag one, or taking your extras. i dont think bst should be nerfed, if they want to have abyssea-like rules, give the mobs variable spawn timers like abyssea. the faster they die, the faster they respawn.

given the current respawn rate, 1 bst owns a camp and makes for unpleasant times for anyone else, which is especially troublesome when there are only 1 real option for camps. and even worse when there are 10 bsts in the zone, 2 at every camp

and really, we are going back to "QQ TH nerf"? said it before, all you have to do now is gearswap for 3 seconds and you have your TH back. god forbid you have to push another button while you ruin dynamis for everyone else
