when WotG 1st came out i remember ppl sayin not to kill pixies...that they would build hate for you and your pt members like tonberry hate...and you would hafta do some quest to clear your hate.

pritty sure they do have a hate like system actually but it is server wide, as people release pixies the begin to appear in present day. As people kill them they dissappear from present day. I know there were no pixies present day before the magian trial with releaseing them.

Don't know if this has been said or not but my old LS back in 2007 or so believed AFv2 wouldn't drop in Dynamis if the pool was full. I basically got kicked out of the ls for refusing to pass everything in the pool before the next mob died.

All the old dyna LSs I had yelled at people for not passing >_>
In dunes we would save provoke for when gobs charged up Bomb Toss and then voke it because we thought bouncing hate would make it drop it on itself instead lol.
blinking (gear swapping) at the right moment would make goblins drop their bombs
Moving around or hitting enter at the right moment would allow me to evade attacks.

I seem to remember people thinking that with Mee Deggi the Punisher and Quu Domi the Gallant if you equipped the weapons they dropped it would increase their drop rates.
Running in circles around a mob so they'd have less chances of hitting you.

Correct. SE released an official statement regarding this at some point. I don't think there's ever been any real numbers established, but killing pixies definitely reduces the number of them in the present.

And causes them to not cure you (I actually don't have experience with this, just a bunch of second-hand observation).
