If you're holding more then 2 mobs on DNC, the only person whose efficiency you're decreasing is your own.

if your holding more than 2 mobs you're just farming coins for my blu.

alexandrite drop rate should stay like it is atm, or else every single noob will have a mythic, just like relic/emps collectors

I understand your concern on some level. Old FFXI had the mentality of "this guy has good gear so he must be good" and a good portion of people still retain that way of thinking.

I recommend that you strive to differentiate yourself from other players who have equal, or better gear, with playstyle. I assure you that you'll be remembered more for doing a good job, than you will for having "shiny stuff" (that is of course, unless you pull the "shiny gear who doesnt know wtf theyre doing"..... then youll be remembered forever).

I promise you that while the feeling of accomplishment for having obtained a personal milestone shouldn't be diminished, NOTHING beats the sense of pride at out-performing someone with better tools.
that's debatable, the playstyle is the only thing that ls members or some minimal party picks up will realize, and they hardly notice it unless you have the gear to enhance/give that feeling to everyone else, having personal pride is good but people will hardly notice, unlike emps collectors that don't have any idea how to play the job

People critique each other still? I dont even know or care what the person next to me is wearing, as long as they don't get me killed.

Awww you are afraid of not being a unique little snowflake in an online game?
it's more silly to see everyone Q_Q because they can't accomplish hard goals and want everything easier on ffxi, than being afraid of not being a "unique little flake"

I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to convey here but you're correct in that my point is debatable. However, I don't hold the opinion of people who care more about the e-peen of gear than someone's actual performance in very high esteem. I care even less about the opinion of the "generic pug-member".

its actually more silly to watch people ask for discounts when trying to accomplish said "hard goals." I can't count how many people on this server shout for currency prices 1-2k (20-100k) cheaper than the going rate.

Raising the crafting cap to 110 doesn't affect this synth.

Yeah, I already checked it out the level gap with the new skill cap. The gap with max skill will only be 24 which shouldn't be enough for tier 2.

This thread needs a "HQ all the things!!!" Meme. I'd do it, but I'm on a mobile device.

Biggest problem I have with having Salvage armor augmentable via synergy is that it will likely mean that they will not be storable with the Porter Moogle.

There could still be a tier change on the subcraft levels.

I can see it now, new 100+ recipes for Cloth will all require Cashmere. Only a few individuals can achieve 110+, Barance!

Confirmed, the Guild NPC won't break the Veteran cap for you unless you have a 100K GP item.
