Old FFXI had the mentality of "this guy has good gear so he must be good" and a good portion of people still retain that way of thinking. I recommend that you strive to differentiate yourself from other players who have equal, or better gear, with playstyle. I assure you that you'll be remembered more for doing a good job, than you will for having "shiny stuff" (that is of course, unless you pull the "shiny gear who doesnt know wtf theyre doing"..... then youll be remembered forever). I promise you that while the feeling of accomplishment for having obtained a personal milestone shouldn't be diminished, NOTHING beats the sense of pride at out-performing someone with better tools. People critique each other still? I dont even know or care what the person next to me is wearing, as long as they don't get me killed.
it's more silly to see everyone Q_Q because they can't accomplish hard goals and want everything easier on ffxi, than being afraid of not being a "unique little flake"

However, I don't hold the opinion of people who care more about the e-peen of gear than someone's actual performance in very high esteem. I care even less about the opinion of the "generic pug-member". I can't count how many people on this server shout for currency prices 1-2k (20-100k) cheaper than the going rate. this all seems like great news.. I just hope they add an option to buy stacks of HQ crystals

Raising the crafting cap to 110 doesn't affect this synth. Yeah, I already checked it out the level gap with the new skill cap. The gap with max skill will only be 24 which shouldn't be enough for tier 2.
This thread needs a "HQ all the things!!!" Meme. I'd do it, but I'm on a mobile device.
Whats this i hear about 100k GP needed to break the 100 synth cap?
Biggest problem I have with having Salvage armor augmentable via synergy is that it will likely mean that they will not be storable with the Porter Moogle.
