Caius Or Sephiroth?

I have not met a boss as of yet though that was as memorable as sephiroth (even if you thought sephy sucked or not). If he sounds like Balthier then he has to be relatively cool atleast.

FFX-2 board game was horrible but FFVIII's card game was directly like FFIX's.

Caius is in no way similar to Seymour. Seymour was just a insane nutbag that thought what he was doing would solve everything. Caius's plan actually made sense and he didn't go about it full of rage all the time, he is actually a pretty calm villian that had waited ages for the chance to complete his task.

Like i said i only brough up the discussion because of a few mates that had diff opinions and i actually think Caius is a pretty cool villian, ever since i saw the opening scene, i knew he was an amazing villian, and became my favourite.


The only fanboys that may do this are ones who were't already in <3 with sephiroth.

It is nostalgia but he is also easily recognized by people who've never even played the series >.> To me, the Promathia boss fight in XI is one of the most memorable bosses/fights Ive ever done but a tiny percentage of gamers even knows who that is....more people can name Sephiroth as a villain whether they like him or not though so that puts him in a separate category all together imo.

Well the similar thing happened with Seifer in FF8. Had to beat that guy like 4 5 times was it?

Random question though.. Why does Caius use Soul Edge <.<? Seriously, his sword has a lot in common with it looks-wise.. Do they both have roots in some mythos I'm not aware of?
