Caius or Sephiroth?
Dunno where this thread should go.. but anyways me and a few mates suddenly started talking about this, and a few think Caius is the new sephiroth and is just so much better than he is, i'd have to agree. Was just wondering what the rest of you lot think cause they are two awesome villians.
Inb4 Sephiroth is a *** and omg Kefka owns all.
I believe Caius takes the cake. kind of weird to call someone a new "over rated, over hyped villian that'll be emulated by every whack fanboy on the planet."
Caius, he's the best bad guy ever!
I still can't wrap my head around the goddess heart etc. If Noel killed Caius why didn't he take over the goddess's heart? Correct me if i'm wrong.
And i'm not saying Caius should be as popular as Sephiroth ever was/is. He just seems to be the most sane villian with a simple plan that he actually succeeded in doing, there was no way of stopping him. Sephiroth has Mommy Issues.
Caius needs to learn to let go. But Sephi has pretty hair so he wins for me. Hojo is a better villain than Sephiroth. @@;
I like Caius because his NA VA was the voice of Rezo the Red Priest in Slayers Revolution/Evolution-R. Also Caius is a badass
Sephiroth was an emo kid with a bigass sword and girly features. But, he's the only one out of those two I know, plus he walked through fire which is kinda badass.
His voice is also Kain in Dissidia and Akihiko from Persona 3.

Sephiroth was an excellent tragic character, but as far as a villain goes, meh.
Never played XIII/XIII-2 so I don't know Caius' character, but I can't imagine him being a better villain than Hojo. Caius is hella sexy though, not going to lie. Dont have a clue who Caius is.
More on target tho. Irregaurdless i find seph better. Best bad guy in FF series. And i dont say that as some fan boy, but rather their was no bad guy that could envoke an emotion quite like him. Caius has a pretty epic sword as well.
Caius + his tiger bandana = win :)

Caius is from FFXIII-2 to much time on 11... havnt made it to 13-2 yet...

Difference between Hojo and Caius: No.
Just no. KEFKA. Or maybe Ultimecia. Or even Yevon. They're only final bosses to actually SUCCEED at completely *** up the world. Or maybe even the Cloud of Darkness b/c she keeps *** up my day on FFIII... I guess that means I need to grind out some more xp lol. Odin.Godofgods said: » Dont have a clue who Caius is. overall, id have to go with caius out of personal preference. >.<

Not to mention he's a horrible horrible person. I can't put into words exactly as to why, but:

Not to mention he's a horrible horrible person. Caius is immortal. Not that "I'm so strong that I'm basically immortal" ***most bosses pull. No. This mofo is straight immortal. If i remember correctly, his goal was to just destroy time itself so that Yeul could live in Valhalla where time doesn't flow and he didn't have to see her die anymore. He actually did accomplish this since he died and at the end everything fell apart cause Etro died. Correct me if im wrong cause i can't remember much of the ending
Paradox's are confusing damn |
