Behind The Scenes: Writing the 2012 State of the Union Address
What is different about this State of the Union Address?
Ask President Obama
Starting today, you can ask President Obama the questions that are on your mind about the direction of the country and vote on others that you think should be asked. He'll answer several of your top-voted questions during a special interview, which will take place on January 30, live from the White House. A selection of people who submit questions will also be invited to join a Google+ Hangout live with the President during the interview.
The deadline to submit is January 28 at midnight ET so submit your question now.
Note: President Obama and the White House are not responsible for question selection and will not see the questions that will be asked prior to the interview.

You can ask questions now, they are already accepting them (65,009 people have submitted 33,106 questions and cast 422,940 votes)
Here are the top 5:
Mr. President, what's being done to battle SOPA, PIPA, and the apparently recently exposed ACTA? Some of us are beginning to feel as if we'll be arrested or fined for every little thing involving any sort of media.

Why did you sign the National Defense Authorization Act (a law which opened the door for trial-free, indefinite detention of anyone, including US citizens, so long as the government calls them terrorists) when you said you were going to veto it?

Mr. President, it's all good and well that SOPA and PIPA are slowed down in Congress, but what are you doing about ACTA? This is an international agreement which could prove much more devastating.

After CEO Chris Dodd openly admitted on FOX News to the corruption of the MPAA attempting to buy laws like SOPA, PIPA, and others; how can middle class Americans know that our votes will be heard over these profiteers?
Really no way around that Kolvar, everyone knows it will be.
I know, just bothers me. All those "town" meetings that politicans go to, the questions are even picked. Would be nice for them to field random questions that push them beyond the ability to be prepared for each question.
