Just caught that episode on final premiere, oh my lawdy.

Last 10min blew me away.

the zombie concept is getting dumb, losing interest watch a show with people that are less intelligent than the zombies.

Partially agree,they could basically remove all the zombies from S2 and S3 and the story would be exactly the same as where there are now,its *** stupid. But its also *** "tv executives business practice 101"

Isnt the show more about the characters than "UMMA GO SMASH ZOMBIE HEADZ IN EVERY WEEK!" or atleast it started that way, til' the fans bitched and moaned about needing more zombie kills.

It is about the characters. Unfortunately, everyone hates the characters and wants to see them die.

Idk,I dont keep up with anything related to the show other than the show itself. And even then barely. The show (to me) has been on the watchable/unwatchable line for a few weeks now. And I can see myself giving it up sometime soon. I read the comics and enjoy them alot and will continue to do so. Tbh I think if it wasnt linked to the walking dead comics and just some random zombie show,I'd have already given up watching it a long time ago. If I wanna see beef between 2 rivals factions with different secrets and intentions,I'd go watch Lost


They *** up alot of the characters by making them whiny/annoying/whatever so its understandable why everyone hates alot of the characters lol again,business executives ftl

This have nothing to do with blowing zombie head every week, the flaw is on the concept of zombie that get repeated every week and drag on for many seasons. The more it try to write each character the more it'll have a hard time convince viewers that zombies are a threat to humanity. Then not to mention the more they try to develop character the more it show they are dumber than the zombies. I think the show should've take the route of 28 days and give zombies an upgrade or to the extreme like the movie "I am legend", this way they can actually develop characters with a god damn brain that can adapt and survive.

28 days/weeks and I Am Legend are NOT zombie movies.

The only thing wrong with the zombie apocolypse is with hordes of zombies vs single zombies and then theres other people who survive and opportunistically take advantage of other survivors. The zombie apocotaco story is not about the horror of the undead eating you alive, its them eating you alive after you finally succumb to fatigue or being thrown to the horde by others.

Specifically, whats wrong with this show is that they played fan service by putting in more zombie kills and presented a book to movie experience which didnt match up 100%. People cant cut off from the source material and look at this in a stand alone view.

It's just so bad now. Zombies can instantly appear within feet of you and Andrea is still alive. 1 shot to the head would solve half the show's problems.

I think the problems with the show are much more fundamental. The zombie scenes are most of the time expertly done. Great suspense, tension, and just overall entertaining. Unfortunately, it's the parts in between that suffer from awful writing, stupid characters, and poor pacing. More zombie sequences aren't necessarily a bad thing, but they need to actually give us a reason to care about these characters at all.

The episode two weeks ago (the one where they find the guy from the season premiere) was awesome, actually. But it just exemplifies the fact (using that word loosely) that when this show is good, it's really *** good, but when it's bad, it's just completely unremarkable and forgettable.

Apparently the guy who was responsible for that last awesome episode is the new showrunner for next season, so there's still hope. I still feel like this show is holding me hostage somehow though ,_,

I knew the Governor wouldn't die that easily. I kind of felt bad for Andrea at the end lol but then I realized I hate her character and moved on. I hope he tortures her. :|

I'm also not sure if that was Milton who torched the walkers or not.. they like to throw you off by thinking the obvious and then surprise you later.

It was either milton or the white guy fighting with Tyrese,you can clearly see his chest/skin color when he lights it. I *** hope andrea dies asap,that'd get me to actually enjoy the show again. She's the worst thing in the show since it started a few years ago.

They're not following the comics. They said they're going off away from it specifically so they can do their own thing. The comics were so good,this isnt. Look at everything so far thats completely different from the comics. There's alot of it and some of it is big and important. Its gotten to the point where the fan service references (like this episode,at the start with his plans for michonne) to the comics just annoy me now because they seem to be just doing them for "look,we know there's still a comic.keep watching and we might even stick to them!" factor.

Quick edit: Robert Kirkman actually has nothing to do with the story/writing anymore. He only gets credit because he created the universe/characters
