AMC walking dead [Spoilers]

So here's something that's bugging me, Season 2 Episode 1 when they were on the highway all those cars with the dead people inside...why were they not zombies?(Yes I'm all caught up on episodes but I just never visited this thread before for fear of teh comic spoils! lol) Like we already know that when they die they turn into a zombie so why were those people not zombies? In particular the guy in the truck(I think it was a truck) that Carl grabbed the thing with all the knives and machetes and what not...why was he not a zombie? I don't recall any bullet holes or a bashed in skull or anything of the sort >.<
Good point lol. Only thing I could think of is, maybe they died before the infection fully spread everywhere. But then, why would people just sit in their cars and die of starvation?
Absolutely nothing I can think of makes sense lol >.< I've thought of so many possibilities and nothing adds up, maybe if it was just the one person but there were multiple people in cars lol
edit: "Knows the undead are attracted by sound, makes no attempt to use quieter pipes on motorcycle."
If only they could catch him :P

It's making me think she's not dead. They never showed her body once the entire time. Maybe they just assume she was torn apart and stuff so they made a grave with nothing inside with a cross to show respect? I dunno, seems weird.

There's no reason to think she's dead. If she is that scene with her cutting that zombie open means nothing and they need some sort of emotional dead weight, i.e. women, to keep the story moving at a snail's pace.

Exactly what I'm thinking, I think she'll make an appearance next week lol, if anything they'll show that she's actually dead.

Yeah, I thought they did a really shitty job of conveying that. Dragging the body makes no sense and finding the bullet made me think Carl shot the floor next to her. One of the producers on the Talking Dead said the zombie ate her though, so whatever.

Maybe they were trying to make you think that at first? Idk but as soon as I saw that fat zombie it instantly put the thought in my head "He ate her on his own and now he's too full to even go after Rick" am I alone in coming to that conclusion? lol

Maybe I'll watch that scene again. Could have been some invalid zombie that just crawled through her puddle of blood making that trail and she is long gone, still alive or zombie. I'm no zombie but I can't imagine eating a pelvis.

The producer also said 1 of the three graves was empty and that's where Lori was supposed to be and he said Daryl was dealing with Carol's death. So I don't know if he just messed up and said too much or he's just throwing people off.
Like Amandarius said, if Lori's dead and eaten I would expect to see bones or clothes or something. It makes sense but I think they just did a shitty job. The producer did say the zombie dragged the body and ate her so that definitely did happen.

So started to rewatch The Walking Dead starting with Season 1. I got to the part in episode 3 where Shane is giving Rick bullets. "Four men, four rounds. What are the odds, huh? ... Let's just hope four is your lucky number."
Decided to look at episode four for all three seasons of The Walking Dead.
Season 1 Episode 4; Camp is swarmed. Amy and Ed die. Jim is biten.
Season 2 Episode 4; Lori finds out she's pregnant! ...With (most likely and heavily hinted at) Shane's baby. Also, Glenn gets laid.
Season 3 Episode 4; Walkers are freed. Lori dies. T-dog dies. The walls of Rick's sanity start to crumble.
So really the only one to have any sort of good luck with 4 is Glenn. >_>

If only they could catch him :P If they tried to make sense of it, they would probably say that they virus was not universally airborne yet + the dead people on the road were taken out by military, just like they did at the hospital. Perhaps most the people killed on the high way experienced body shots.

Heres one for ya that i notice, when Tdog saved carol in that hallway by taking the 2 walkers carol ran out the door and if u notice she had that scarf in her head when she took the corner, yet they found the scarf in floor next to Tdog. Jus a catch i notice i belive she is alive. Altho they dug 3 graves 2 where empty and just for memory of those people such as lori.

The knife and bullet caught my eye to seing that maybe carl pretended to shoot her and really didnt? Or the bulled whent threw he head and imprinted the ground, ither way the blood trail where lori laid was def sign of bein dragged, then the hair in mouth, then also she could not have acually survived due to that slice that was made to relive the baby. If anything she would come back as a sombie but highly doubt that. All fingers point to that fat *** zombie having her for lunch lol
who else is looking forward to this? i loved the first season and the new season starts sun.!!!! cant wait!
