Apparently i didn't look that hard at gear from this update, missed that they added 2 new snapshot peices.

If caban is 5% attack, I think that would beat out tessera saio yes? Esp. since you use terebellum mantle over sylvan. 17 attack > 6 str 6 agi (3 rattk from str yar?). If so, then almost any attack would be better than 1 str 1 agi. Depends on the attack% though I guess!

Aren't thaumas kecks better for last stand too?

And how does that ring fare? 5 rattk/acc~ for 2 agi?

thats the thing i was looking on bg and only mentioned a snapshot enhancement to VS nothing about an attack bonus, and this is the reason the dev team needs to add ranged attack to the equipment menu, haste maybe but how much attack bonus if any we get from our gear and abilities shouldn't require us to test them.

Last Stand:

Single-wield the new dagger with 10 str and increased crit damage, or anything really. Right earring should either be AGI earring, or you can use the set bonus AGI+8 ones, or moonshade with appropriate augments. *I will say that I also use a STR earring currently until I stop being lazy and finish WotG.* Depending on the defense of the mob, you may be better off using 2 AGI rings. Legs should definitely be thaumas or ambusher's (thaumas better). I have no idea if the new body is better tbh. It's going to depend on if you're getting more than +20ish ranged attack from the enhance v shot effect on caban. If nothing else, it's an awesome wildfire piece.

Other than that looks good. Not too familiar with the new coronach gear because honestly, it's been so long since I've really cared to use it. Obviously if you are planning on only using coronach you can get away with using a staff.

Which reminds me, there is an axe, drops off the diremite in abyssea-ule I think? with store tp on it if you really need it. I always bring it around for procs in VW anyway.

Edit: his stp may not add up because he's using scout's beret (maybe?). I don't have anything close to a 4-hit build most of the time, but it still turns out to be a 4-hit build anyway with regain + recycle procs.

naw was asking because before he still needed the 4stp off his seiryu kote to make it work, was wondering if he found a better way around it. Also while on the subject any of yall have good advice for getting the relic augment trials done?

Curious why the tonberry cape isn't used on WS? As RNG is my first melee job up, I'm picking the brains of my melee friends left and right, and so many of them have spoken of this cape in their sets. Have the light gorget (got this long ago in anticipation of RNG weaponskills), and the cape was suggested in a Jishnu's Radiance build as I'm working on a Gandiva currently, and figured that it was a solid choice for most WS builds these days.

Irrc it's only useful for JR, then it depends on your crit rate I suppose.

hmmm anni is 16.6 with 240 delay bullets right? sorry for bringing this to question again but i'm getting 25.2 per shot for your tp set meaning you have to make up 24.4, which ends up being 47 stp for coronach 41 stp on last stand if both hits land.

i see 14 on coro and 9 on last stand. anyways im just trying to figure out if im messing something up here or missing something, please set me straight if so.

i like it. Just need to switch bellona's to tyrant's and gules feet to Af2+2. Def a better gain that way

This is my Post WS TP set.
I get 19 TP return from Coronach and Last Stand and this TP set gives 20.9 per shot. You can play around with it and it's 3STP over the minimum you need to maintain a 4-hit post WS.

That swap is pretty much the same in terms of R.att. I just prefer the R.acc that you get from Bellona's. While it may just be 3R.acc due to using Gules +1 it still helps a lot for things like Legion where R.acc means a lot. go go Pot-au-feu .-.

Why people still subbing and building /Sam?

Same reason people are still using bows.
