Tonberry Hate

I've searched the forums, Wiki you name it and all I can find is the basics of 200G~6,000G to tell your Tonberry hate reading. I've reset my hate so many times over the past few years that it isn't funny, and now that Rancor Collar is out it seems I need to re-cap it again~ Can you still gain hate from Too Weak Tonberrys or do they need to be EP+? I killed for awhile in Ugg but they were Too Weak and I remained at 500G hate. Now I am in Abyssea Kon trying on these which are always EP+ so I know I will get hate. How many Tonberry kills does it take to cap your hate?? I know its alot. Thx for any input.

I've seen 150, doesn't seem to matter if you get exp.but it appears you do need to get exp to increase hate.

I just CW burned a TON of tonberry for my dark ring/hairpin in konsc so it was easy to cap.

You do not need to get xp to increase hate. I capped mine in the temple easily enough. Only took about an hour.

The best place to do this would be Den of Rancor or the top level of Uggy Temple. Easiest tonberries to kill. I recall still getting experience doing RotZ missions on my 90 BLU.

how many kills does it take for max hate?

It took me around 200~250 of them to cap hate with AoE pulls of 20 or so at a time.
