PLD MDT/MDB/PDT Help Plz!

Ok so I've been messing around with my gimp PLD lately and I though I could ask advice from some PLDs freak ;D (friend got almace/ochain/aegis/excal I've been jelly I wanna own too ;_;)Wanted to ask for MDT sets only but I figured I could ask for the rest too ._.

My TP set: (If I decid to use shield for some random reasons)

Will switch to suppanomimi and dual wield honorbound

My tanking set: (if I ever tank anything important <.< and according im /nin)


My LOLws set: (God forbid vorpal blade ._.;;)

I have heafoc mitts though af3 +2 would be better caus mitts have -accuraccy, I dunno.PLD ws suck anyways ;_;

My PDT set:

I have hmm hauteclaire and don't plan doing PDT sword anytime soon >.<

For both PDT and MDT set...but you know I don't think I will have this tomorrow lol

also, wich situation is MDB better then MDT.

Get some Dark Rings in that PDT set. Also, your optimal set doesn't need Inmicus, you can use the PLD AF3 legs. If you've got Shell V, you'll be capped with Valhalla/Twilight/D.ring. That'll also score you 30% PDT without accounting for feet3%/waist3%/back4%/hands3%/dark ring6%, and PDT earrings2%x2. You'd be over the PDT and MDT cap with all those taken into account, without sacrificing your weapon (But you'd eat 10% Slow).

Lose your "Tanking Set" your tanking set should be your DD setup, macro in PDT when shadows are down.

PLDs that use HP gear seriously drive me insane.

Got no luck so far with dark rings but working on it >.<

My friend made fun of me all the time caus he's sitting at 1.7k + HP when I have 1.2k w/o any HP gears >.<

Why is your HP that low? At 90 it should be much higher with or without hp merits. Taru?

Grim is a decent choice for a constant PDT item versus Creed body however, I honestly don't know if that's better. I just don't really know the dmg absorbing rate and midigation on creed gears. For MDT, Askar feets, Minerva's Ring, Mebd's Gauntlets, Noesis Helm, Resentment Cape (situational due to it's latent), and Avalon Breastplate are relatively easy to obtain choices. If your not worried about losing your TP on a very damaging spell, Iron Ram Lance + Vallus Grip gives you -15% MDT (10% -DT + 5% -MDT). Good luck with what you decide to do! :D

I am a mithra and due to my mages jobs I have MP merits =/
I meant outside abyssea tho, inside abyssea I have more (ofcourse).

I have 1600 on WAR, but I also have 12 HP merits. That'd knock me down to 1480.

Thank you for the advice, I will look into those MDB items, though body +2 have a -10% damage takes if you have full hate.If you actually are taking I think creed > avalon.Though avalon would be a nice addition for all those times...we just dont have hate lol ;p

Af3+2 will be best mdt and pdt body as it gives -10% dmg with just minimal hate right? One divine emblem flash would put you at cap hate for the most part.

For me, as WAR, I can't azure. I didn't mean they needed to stay though, just get the lights built.

no, give 2% at minimal and 10% at capped hate.

MP merits are pretty worthless these days, I would dump them for HP, even outside abyssea its easy to get a 20+ tic refresh going for your mages.

A mithra PLD shouldnt have HP that low though o.O

Yeah, Mounted Champion. The Impenetrable works too I think. Basically you just need 2 potent regen atmas. It's a good setup for skilling too.

I guess what i was getting at is that pld can cap hate in a matter of seconds. so af3 body woudl be superior in most situations

and @ Tikal it's /dnc, I'm always sub dnc caus I'm always solo pld ._. My pld is too much crap to even be near usefull
