After quite a bit of time and hard work I've finaly gotten my Drawing desk (150k ww guild point item) from the guild. when I applyed it to my mog house I found (with no surpize) that I didn't get my mog enhancement woodworking from the desk. When I went to look up why I found that it was because the dominant elements within my mog house was fire. Here is the list of crap that was in my mog house at this time:

* Mahogany Bed
* Maple Table
* Drawing desk
* Armor Box x3
* Cupboard
* Bookshelf
* Book Holder
* Flower Stand
* Imperial Standard
* Bonbori
* San d'orian Flag
* Bastokan Flag
* Windurstian Flag
* Melodious Egg
* Clockwork Egg
* Festival dolls
* Behemoth statue
* Fafnir statue
* Prishe statue
* 9-drawer almirah

So I figured: ok i'll just make my dominant element earth and that would solve the problem So I added the following:

* Gallipot
* Yellow 9D almirah
* Oak table

When these 3 were added I got no enhancement so I figured I needed to take somthing away from fire so I took away the Festival dolls.

With that I ended up getting the mogenhancement earth...
according to wiki:
"When you have more than one possible Moghancement for the dominant element in your layout, you still only get one Moghancement. You will get the Moghancement of the furniture with the highest element strength rating among those of the dominant element. This is determined individually, so having multiples of the same furniture will not "overcome" the strength rating of another piece. If the highest element strength is a tie between two different Moghancements, you will get the Moghancement of the piece of furniture placed first of the dominant element."

With the bolded in mind I took out the Oak table, the Yellow 9D almirah and the Drawing desk. Then I place the drawing desk first...exited layout, then reentered it and placed oak table and Yellow 9D almirah. but in the end I still got mogenhancement earth...><

starting to get annoyed I removed all earth based furnishings from my house then I only placed my drawing desk. After it was placed I readded all of my earth furnishings back.... but still: mogenhancement earth

Can anyone help me get mogenhancement: woodworking?

Use Yellow SIX D Almirahs, not the 9

Basically it's decided in two stages.

Stage 1: What's the strongest element. (Fire, Earth, Wind etc)

Stage 2: Which furniture of that element has the strongest aura.

So you could have 50 identical "Furniture X" of Earth Aura Strength 1 in your mog house, and 1 "Furniture Y" with Earth Aura Strength 4, and even though you have a total of 50 earth aura for Furniture X, whatever the moghancement of Furniture Y will take over.

In your case, the strongest element is Earth (Part 1)
However, the furniture with strongest Aura is the 9D Almirah, which is stronger than your GP Item. So you're gonna need to pick earth furnitures with strength less than the strength of the Drawing Desk.

...if that true then wiki info is wrong... according to them both the 9D and the drawing desk have a aura of 9.

at any rate i'll just add other earth stuff to counteract this and just save the yellow 9D until I get my 200k gp item. Thank you for your help.

Ya, I went straight for the 200k gp item, so I never had that issue. I'm not sure how the game reads two furnishings of equal value, the order you put them in the mog house doesn't matter.
Like I said, the best route would probably be to get 6D Almirah's made.
