Yup... same issue as everyone else. I asked him if using a different card would help... he said nope, likely would not help. Basically told me to wait patiently. Oh well... I'd probably sit there and watch my moogle spin around in circles anyways.

My account was suspended for unpaid fees. I was like: "Saywut~?" So I went on with the process to view my fees, and I owe $0.00. Yep, thaz wut it sez. I'm going to have to take out a loan for this one.

So I paid my fees in the MIDDLE of April like they asked, and now I'm kicked again. I owe NOTHING! The fees actually say $0.00. I'm really getting tired of this.
i remember when i had billing issues in the past, i tried to enter a different credit card number and kept getting that error. when i called SE, the guy said the billing servers are always in chaos at the beginning of every month cause that's when everyone is checking their bill or trying to change it.
so as dumb as this is... if you wait a few days to enter your info it should work fine, or you can also just keep spamming it and you may get lucky.(sorry, i don't think this is answering the OP, but saw a bunch of posts saying they had this problem, so yea)

Same Issue here, my content ID's were deactivated for no reason and I'm unable to reactive due to server busy and usc errors.

OK here's my 2 cents.
Last week I got a call from my mastercard company saying that a vendor had called to report that my CC info had been compromise. My CC company issues me a new card and said that I should update all my "auto billing" services.
I can only assume that the company that was compromised was Sony givin all the hilarious memes i have seen recently. I had to update the info with a new card (and actually needed to switch to my debit card cause of the STUPID 3d verification thingy). Once I had the new form of payment all verified I still needed to navigate POL and "reactivate" my content IDs.
But once I did that i was able to log. I only say this cause i imagine many of us prolly got hit with the same thing and if my solution worked for me it may for you too.

But how can you update your cc info when you cant login to pol because of error code UCS-5001?

Well I didn't get POL error code... But it did say I lost all my content IDs when I tried to start the game.

funny.... it seems that only the people getting charged for 0.00 will have this problem, because i just payed 30$ dollars on my other new account for the abyssea addons costs and everything worked fine, the payment got accepted and re-activated
so this means, it have nothing to do with re-installing ffxi
