Ya that is true Dream Shroud is LvL56 and you wont get Avatar's Favor either since that is LvL55 as well.
I used to go BLM/SMN in like 2004 because it was cool. I also went BLM/NIN and dual wielded int clubs in quicksand caves. Good times.

But really, RDM is the overall best subjob.
I've been playing around with SCH, and Alacrity is nice for AMs etc, but yeah.. I prefer RDM sub still
Arts will not boost your Skill if theyre over B skill rating. /SCH is very Viable for BLM if you need 4 sleepgas, or if youre very underskilled on which youll get the Skill boost.
Best SJ for BLM is RDM hands down.

Well it depends on what you're doing (as always) :P
I like /rdm sub for general use, gravity in my book is just, amazing. It's also got it's fast cast, access to enfeebles you otherwise wouldn't have (para, slow, etc), it's average for healing ability, get regen and cure I-III (atm), uh, refresh is a +.
/sch has some SERIOUS usage now. For example, low manning dynamis or w/e where large crowd control is required, being able to AoE sleep, bind, break, stun etc is well, awesome. Elemental Celerity and all the little nice boosts the stratagems provide.
/whm has it's usage if you feel you need a little more bang in your cures, giving you access to Cure I-IV. Reraise is a huge plus. Auto regen, in my opinion is extremely irritating(i use sorc.), although every little helps i guess. Divine seal for serious bang in your cures.
/nin is also just as good for maybe solo/duo with ***that likes AM/Tier IV+ or even just as a pose to any of the others.
It honestly just depends on what you want to use it for.
My advice, not that you care, is to level them all to 50 at least, and play around, ya never know, some might surprise you ^^)

I have only been on my blm for yellow so I go blm/brd since most of the time we don't have a brd and only going with like 4-8 other people.
For exp or when yellow not needed I would /rdm.

I sub /DRK so I get 2 stuns...and those times when I really need to tank /war mana wall and defender ftw!

Depends what I do.If I am doing worms I do /sch for AoE aspir.If I'm exp or proccing and there is a whm and brd, I sub RDM.I /whm in very rare situation where ppl decid to farm seals as blu/thf/brd/blm and could use a "incase" healing.I HATE /brd like veryvery bad, always finish by getting killed at some point caus no SS/blink/cure but ppl still expect you to be a DD.Apparently BLMs are not elligible to cures.....anyway.*** YOU SUB BRD <3

QFT, most WHM's are trash and forget that BLM's have HP too. Sadly when I play as BLM I'm always waiting on something bad to happen to use my backup solo strategy, and yet I'm always the first to die generally because I play by their strategy. >.>
