Final Fantasy VII
instead of a remake they should make a game using the same battle system and freedoms of ff7 imo i've played all FF7's including the 8 bit version i'm not a fan boy I just loved the battle system and matiria system lots of freedom there
I don't get why they need such hardcore specs if they aren't updating graphics at all...
Thanzo187 said: » the 8 bit version Ok, so I just found the japanese version in a youtube video, and now I must have it in English. Please tell me it exists. You can just buy VII on PSN or PS3 will stay play PS1 games. Not sure why not being able to play it on PS2 is an issue. Hell you can prob just torrent the old PC version of VII if you don't have a ps3.
if you guys want a kinda up to date ff7 look at this someone did it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zt4RbzQV4z4&feature=related <--gameplay
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxLohr9XMyc <--installation um the files are found on a website its pretty much a ff7 for pc modded the project is old can read about it here http://www.finalfantasy7pc.com/mods/phoenix-rejuvenation-project/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cw8dxYnZptA&feature=related
top one not bad graphics would be cool below one) from what i seen SE has just been doing spin offs and bs, will we ever see some thing like this? if SE ever starts listening to its fans maybe but for now its just a dream that might be always just a dream sigh :/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hG61w7SidmY&feature=related Ragnarok.Nekonarf said: » One of the best *** Mini-games I've played in a JRPG, rivaled only by Tetra Master, god ._. so many hours spent in ftfy I got the hang of Triple Triad faster than Tetra Master. To this day i don't get Tetra Master.
and also 1st time i played FF7 was 2000 i enjoyed the story but at that time games were starting to get more graphic and after 1-2 playing all the way threw i just couln't find the will to play it fully and kept wishing it had better graphics i admit the better graphic games drew me in but if the game was down right bad no matter how good the graphics i would not play it, though i am sure some of the older FF fans think a Graphic upgrade would hurt FF7. I think as long as SE doeson't try and change any of the story and keep it 100% same as it was in 1997 version with PS3 graphics it would totally blow the socks off people + come on who doeson't wanna see a HD could in a dress? that would be so funny to see xD

you can easily pirate it, but it kind of explains why SE was reporting torrents of it a few months back when it's so old and rare.
I bought mine years ago, but somebody stole it, not rebuying it, well getting it to work on win7 without fiddling with stuff is promising, so maybe. Especially if they repackaged it with the psx's audio over the crappy midi's from the original pc version. I know I can pirate it, I just don't care. I guess I'm part of the minority when I say I played VII on PS1, loved it, moved on.
I like to replay my games, meh.
Dearest moderator who fixed the spelling of "fantasy",
Thank you, so much. Interrupting Voidwatch, Canto. I would definitely play a remake, but a ported PC version with "updated achievements" but no changes to anything, (when I pretty much one-hundred-percented the original) that costs money, no.
I hope they never decide to remake 9, that would be dumb :|
Pretty sure SE has only ever talked about remaking VII. Don't think they will remake anything before that one.

Bismarck.Dracondria said: » I hope they never decide to remake 9, that would be dumb :| Actually in the back of one of the FF player guide books, there was a Q&A, and one of the people said they would have liked to make a sequel to ff9 (not the same as a remake, but that's for a diff thread I'm sure), only problem is I don't remember which book it was in, or where I put it lol... Bismarck.Dracondria said: » a version that isn't impossible unless you're JP (it's called a joke son) but seriously that ***is near impossible. Bismarck.Dracondria said: » Oh I thought it wasn't in the US version or something >.> na it is, as trolling imo. but the lack of a New Game+ is much more pressing imo, would make the game much more worthwhile, I mean yeah I could effectively cheat and do the same thing, but it's not the same in my head. well...they have technically remade ff 1-4. 1 and 2 have 16 bit remakes. 3 and 4 have ds remakes.
and they were remaking v for ds then it was more or less cancelled. but was some consideration for 3DS Quetzalcoatl.Milliniar said: » well...they have technically remade ff 1-4. 1 and 2 have 16 bit remakes. 3 and 4 have ds remakes. and they were remaking v for ds then it was more or less cancelled. but was some consideration for 3DS i wouldn't mind them remaking V, its like the only one i never beat lol. if they announced a 3DS VI remake, i'd prob go buy one tmr (3DS) lol D: Please let the abomination of the FFVII compilation project die with what dignity it has left.
I liked it when it was released (liked, not loved), and its fine just the way it is. Remaking anything after VI will ruin them, imo. |
